1. I'm doing well. 我很好。
使用语境：是对How are you？和How are you doing？等问候语的回答，因此不能翻译为“我做得很好。”而要翻译为“我很好。”相当于I'm fine。
e.g. —How are you？你好吗？
—I'm doing well.我很好。
Language points
2. get to know 逐渐了解
辨析 get to know和know
get to know 强调动作，指“从不认识到认识的渐进过程”。
know 强调状态，指“认识，了解，知道”。是延续性动词，可以和表示一段时间的状语连用。
e.g. She is very nice when you get to know her.
你了解她以后就会觉得她非常好。
I have known him for 3 years.
我认识他已经有三年了。
3. across from 在对面；在对过
across from是介词短语，在句中可作表语、状语。
e.g. The hospital is across from the shop.
医院在这个商店对面。(作表语)
There is a restaurant across from the post office.
在邮局对面有一家餐馆。(作状语)
across from其同义词组为opposite to “在……对面；和……相反”。
