单元主题分析
本单元 本单元主题:Meet my friends。该主题属于“人与自我”“人与社会”的范畴,涉及到的是“生活与学习”,本单元的子主题是“Introduce my friend to my family"Introduce my friend to my friend"Draw about my friend"Write about my friend""Happy time with my friend”。学习询问他人的姓名和描述他人的外貌性格特征的语言,引导学生学会与家人分享自己认识的人和事,拉近与家人之间的距离,搭建心灵沟通的桥梁。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级上册第三单元,本单元主题是“Meet my friend"这个话题,重点学习如何向他人介绍自己的好朋友,以及养成良好的学习生活习惯”的表达方式。四年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力,能够听懂、会说一些简单的语言,能在教师指导下初步形成规范的学习习惯,对课堂上的大多数学习活动有新鲜感,能在老师引导下完成相关学习任务。在三年级,他们也接触过询问他人姓名的语言表达,如:What’s your name My name is..同时也认识描述外貌特征的形容词,如:thin, tall, short, fat等等,所以本单元学习描述他人的外貌特征还是有一定的语言基础。但是四年级的学生的审美观,价值观还在逐步形成阶段,让学生感知教材语言的语用和语义,学会如何描述他人的外貌特征。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

语篇研读(附图)本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过John和Mike谈论Mike的好朋友时产生的对话,让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。先通过处理局部的重点句型,让学生进行小组合作操练句型,再回归语篇,解决问题A boy or a girl? Is he Wu Binbin ...逐步引导学生在发现问题,了解语言结构的同时,让学生在交际中巩固所学内容,从中体验、实践、交流和探究语言,达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过介绍自己朋友的衣着或外貌特征等,培养学生学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。
