本单元 本单元主题:Meet my friends。该主题属于“人与自我”“人与社会”的范畴,涉及到的是“生活与学习”,本单元的子主题是“Introduce my friend to my family"Introduce my friend to my friend"Draw about my friend"Write about my friend""Happy time with my friend”。学习询问他人的姓名和描述他人的外貌性格特征的语言,引导学生学会与家人分享自己认识的人和事,拉近与家人之间的距离,搭建心灵沟通的桥梁。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级上册第三单元,本单元主题是“Meet my friend"这个话题,重点学习如何向他人介绍自己的好朋友,以及养成良好的学习生活习惯”的表达方式。四年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力,能够听懂、会说一些简单的语言,能在教师指导下初步形成规范的学习习惯,对课堂上的大多数学习活动有新鲜感,能在老师引导下完成相关学习任务。在三年级,他们也接触过询问他人姓名的语言表达,如:What’s your name My name is..同时也认识描述外貌特征的形容词,如:thin, tall, short, fat等等,所以本单元学习描述他人的外貌特征还是有一定的语言基础。但是四年级的学生的审美观,价值观还在逐步形成阶段,让学生感知教材语言的语用和语义,学会如何描述他人的外貌特征。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

语篇研读(附图)
本节课是阅读篇,听力及故事对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是先通过对人物特征的描述, 找出对应的人物,复习如何描述特征的句子, “He/She is ...He/She has ..” What’s his/her name 等句型,再通过观察图片,写一写补全句子,巩固单词书写和规范, Let's check训练听和观察的能力, Read and match图文连线,还有对词汇的敏感,最后再通过story time部分, 兔子发现一个很大的萝卜但靠自己拔不出来, 最后在众动物的合作下终于拔出了萝卜, 从而把整个单元中的词汇句型连接起来, 在情境中运用词汇和句型。
