Analysis of the lesson This lesson is from unit 4. The topic is last weekend. It’s for the students in Grade Six.This lesson is mainly about talking about the things happened last weekend. The students will be interested in it. This lesson is a good material to train the students to use the language fluently and their communication abilities.Before learning this lesson the students have learned past tense before. It’s the second time for the students to learn. So this lesson is not difficult to learn. The students can get the new knowledge by using the old ones.
Analysis of the students The students in Grade6 are about 12 years old. They have learned English for more than five years. Some of them have a good habit about learning and master the efficient way about the learning stratagem. They like thinking, communicating and studying from each other. Most of the students have a great interest in learning English and they are eager to get more chance to express. But there are some students who have the difficulties in learning. So in the class, I will pay more attention on them.

Teaching methods and processAccording to the New Curriculum Standard of Primary School, learning English is to arouse the interest, improve the probe study and cooperative spirits and let the students form the ability of operating language. This lesson is based on the teaching purpose of ‘Interest, Situation, Activity’, uses Task-based teaching method with other teaching methods to teach the lesson. In the teaching and learning course, the students can master the main points and break through the difficult points.
