根据南宋赵与时著作的《宾退录》记录，南宋绍兴三年，宋高宗赵构听信秦桧等奸佞的谗言，以“平虔吉（今江西省赣州、吉安一带）群盗”为名，把岳家军调离抗金战场。岳飞对于朝廷这种消极抵抗，“攘外必先安内”的行为，虽然内心很不满，并因此填词《满江红·怒发冲冠》一阙表明 心志。但在封建君主专 制的制度下，他不得不服从并忍痛撤离主战场，带兵南下江西，取道新干县。

1133年，一位头戴铁盔，身披铠甲，气宇轩昂的将军，跨着骏马带领士兵，一路风尘仆仆朝新干地界飞驰过来。将军在此立马观望，发现青沂市（现今新干县玉堆村）这个地方，向东，有滔滔奔流的赣江水，方便撤退；向西，一座座山冈树木葱郁，容易隐蔽；四周空旷平坦，平时可以练兵。于是将军命令王贵、汤怀部队，在此安营扎寨，即日起开始操练，以期早除盗患。这位为首的将军不是别人，正是精忠报国的民族英雄岳飞！
岳飞带兵驻扎的地方就在青沂市一带(今江西省新干县荷浦乡至界埠乡接界之地)，他在这里进行战事前的各项准备工作，带兵进行军事演练，期待早日重返抗金战场。当时岳飞在青泥寺（今江西省吉安市新干县境内）还题诗一首，诗名《题青泥市萧寺壁》，诗中尾句说“不问登坛万户侯”。古人常常把自己的心情和意志通过诗词表现出来，岳飞虽为军人也不例外。他的诗和词都表达出了他痛恨敌寇的爱国热情，以及誓死收复中原失地、抗击异族侵扰，保国安民的坚定意志，以及不计个人名利得失的宽广胸怀。
后人为了纪念他，将这首诗刻在石碑上，命名为“岳忠武碑”，立于青泥寺里。至清朝的时候，又另外立了一块石碑，碑上刻有“功勋百战委尘土，遗恨孤忠泪满巾”的句子。岳飞点将台遗址，如今仍矗立在赣江西面新干县荷浦乡的玉堆村。在以前赣江没有经过河道自然改道前，它距离赣江也就三四华里。现如今的赣江一段，经过几百年的洪水冲刷，形成了千里赣江第一岛“莒洲岛”，河水主流自发地改往王山村方向东流。荷浦街方向西面反倒成了一条小支流，在支流之上现已建起了一座桥以方便岛民出行，现今的河面宽度比古代宽了近一倍。这个遗址距离现在的赣江有五华里左右。

在那么一片空旷的水稻田中间，三座高大的土台十分显眼。点将台主台为七步台，是岳飞阅兵所用，长宽高分别为144米、35米和12米，面积5040平方米，呈下宽上窄的梯形。南台为五步台，为部将王贵、汤怀所用，长宽高都比主台少了一半左右，面积也只有795米，呈梯形。北台为三步台，是岳飞之子岳云等护卫主帅用台，面积又小一些，为638平方米，呈梯形。由此可见以前部队的等级制度有多森严。从荷浦乡到界埠镇还有一条宽阔的“马糟”，据传为岳家军部队使用过的马糟。点将台目前整体保存较完整，1984年新干县已将它列为文物古迹。
记得很小的时候，当时还未被政府列为文物古迹，每年从这顺路而过，去亲戚家拜年，心中一直纳闷水田中间凸起这么一大块土丘，长满杂草，怎么被荒废了，没有人去开垦出来种庄稼吗，这不是浪费土地吗？还记得当时每年都要筑坝修渠来防洪，需要大量的泥土来填充加固堤坝，而这里恰好离堤又近，人们为何不从这里顺挖泥土呢？后来问过家在荷浦的亲戚，才知道这是岳飞点将台遗址，当地人是自发的进行保护的，并对此引以为傲，禁止任何人从这挖走泥土，破坏遗址。
由于点将台是用土筑成的，长年累月的不断风化又缺乏修整加固，原来的七座，现仅存三座，平地而凸起的点将台上杂草丛生，远远望去还是很显眼的。当年的这些点将台，被建在了几个行政村之间，跨越了现今的荷浦乡和界埠镇两个乡镇地界。当地人为了表达对民族英雄岳飞的敬仰和怀念，很早的时候，就对附近三个村庄取名，使用了岳飞的封号“武穆侯”三个字，分别是“武湖村”（界埠镇属地）、“穆湖村”（界埠镇属地）、“侯府村”（荷浦乡属地）。这三个村名，从古一直沿用至今，地图上还可以查到，导航也可以直达。如果有兴趣去旅游或路过，值得一看的。

How is everything Tuesday is coming. Our grade and our class are planning to go to Hepu, an interesting place alongside Ganjiang River, for a hike with our teachers. There we’ll see Ju -zhou Island, which is known as The Great Distance Ganjiang River First Island. I’ve heard that it’s an amazing sight. To me, the story about the river’s changing its way is almost unbelievable. It’s amazing that Juzhou Island used to be first a small village connected with others on the east bank, but later became a separate island surrounded by water because constantly rushing of frequent floods in the history made the river change its course at this part. On the island, there is a lot to explore. We’ll enjoy the beauty of nature there, such as sand beaches and unique ancient huge trees. Of course, we will taste some fresh and sweet local red-oranges and take some beautiful photos there. How exciting!

We’re also visiting YueFei Dianjiangtai Site nearby. I’ve heard that Yue Fei, who is always one of my favorite national heroes, once led his army to come here and stopped to train soldiers, getting ready to return to the front for fighting against the Jin invaders. Long ago, the three villages around here were named WuFu Village, MuFu Village, and Hou -Fu Village after Yue Fei’s title WuMuHou, to honor him. I’ve always wanted to see it with my own eyes.
We’re meeting on the playground at 7:40 a.m. and then walking to the destination one after one class in order.
I guess it’s my dream destination. I can’t wait to go and I’m much looking forward to my first hike.
