1.定义：当三个或三个以上的人或事物进行比较时,用形容词或副词的最高级
the+形容词或副词的最高级“最…的”

形容词、副词最高级的用法
①表示三者及三者以上人或物进行比较时用最高级
the+最高级+in/of+范围
The picture is the best of all.
这幅画是所有画中最好的。
She is the most beautiful girl in the class.
她是班上最美的女孩。
★形容词最高级前必须加定冠词the，但如果最高级前有物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格等修饰时,则不用定冠词。
②表示在三者及以上之间选择
Which/Who is the+最高级，A,Bor C

汤姆、杰克或比尔,谁最高
③表示“最……之一
one of the最高级+可数名词复数(谓语动词用单数)

④形容词最高级前面加序数词,表示“第几…."。
He is the second tallest boy in our class.
他是我班上第二高的男孩。
⑤比较级和最高级之间的互换。
He is taller than any other boy in our class.(形容词比较级+than any other+单数名词)
= He is taller than the other boys in our class.(形容词比较级+than the other+复数名词)
= He is the tallest boy in our class.

3．best
【详解】句意：她每天练习，尽可能成为最好的舞者。根据“She practises every day to become the…dancer she can be.”以及所给单词可知，此处说的是尽可能成为最好的舞者，应该用形容词good的最高级best，意为“最好的”。故填best。
4．most
【详解】句意：珍妮是班上最聪明的女孩。根据“in her class”可知，有比较范围，因此用最高级，指的是最聪明的，用最高级most clever。故填most。
5．most popular
【详解】句意：篮球是世界上最受欢迎的运动之一。由于“one of the”后用最高级，故此空用最高级，most popular最受欢迎的。故填most popular。
6．tallest
【详解】句意：汤姆是三个男孩中个子最高的。根据“of the three boys”表示三者间的比较用最高级，tall的最高级是tallest。故填tallest。
7．biggest
【详解】句意：中国是世界上第三大国家。结合“the third”以及“in the world”可知此处需用形容词的最高级。故填biggest。
8．the most excited
【详解】句意：听到这个好消息后，潘展乐的爷爷是家人中最兴奋的。根据“of the family members”可知，需要形容词的最高级，且最高级前面要有the，此处修饰人，the most excited符合句意，故填the most excited。
9．least
【详解】句意：萨利在三人中果汁最少。三者或三者以上作比较用最高级，little 的最高级为 least。故填least。
10．landscapes
【详解】句意：它是上海最著名的景观之一。landscape“景观，风景”，one of the+形容词最高级+可数名词复数，表示“最……之一”。故填landscapes。
11．worst/the worst
【详解】句意：他的英语在班上说得最差。根据“in his class.”可知，此处用副词最高级修饰动词speaks，badly的最高级为worst，副词的最高级前可加定冠词the，也可不加。故填(the) worst。
12．best
【详解】句意：我最喜欢的科目是美术。我最喜欢美术。根据“My favourite subject is art.”可知，此处指“我”最喜欢美术，应用副词的最高级来修饰动词like，well的最高级为best。故填best。
13．the hardest/hardest
【详解】句意：——在他们三个中，这个高个子女孩工作最努力。——你说得对，我们都喜欢她。hard努力地，副词；根据“of them three”可知是三者比较，使用副词最高级，前面可加the，也可不加。故填the hardest/hardest。
14．best
【详解】句意：在这三门课中，我最喜欢音乐课。good是形容词，此处修饰动词like，用副词well；根据“Of these three classes”可知在三门课中最喜欢音乐课，用副词的最高级best“最”。故填best。

【详解】句意：在所有科目中，你最喜欢哪一门？根据“Of all the subjects”可知，三者以上的比较应用最高级。故填best。
