(一)课前准备
(1)人员分工:
学生四至六人一组,每组设组长一人,负责任务的选择与确定,完成任务时必要的协调;登记员一
人,负责调查数据的记录;报告员一人,负责根据本组成员的意见,写出调查报告;材料员一人,负责
收集相关材料或数据。
(2)任务下达:
1、Our favorite animal(我们最爱的动物):通过询问调查全班同学所喜欢的动物及其原因,并做出统计表
和报告。
2、Special animal(特别动物):了解其特有的习性与特点,并做出报告。
3、设计吉祥物:以此动物为蓝本,设计一种动物卡通画,作为本班吉祥物,并做出报告,说明该吉祥
物的相关特点和设计理由。
4、设计快乐家园图:设计一张自己最喜好的人与动物和谐相处的家园地图,并说明出行路线。
活动过程
第一教学环节:情景创设,导入新课
1、热身Warming-Up
Teacher: Boys and girls, do you like animals? Do you have any pets at home? How many animals do you know? Let’s talk about animals today.
(展示动物图片,学生描述)
第二教学环节:师生互动,学习探究
教师让两个学生做对话表演,并板书“How do you get to school?”
将对话改成第三人称进行练习。
教师在放录音之前先让学生了解对话的内容。
三、展示Practice
Teacher: Well, boys and girls, we want to choose a kind of animal to stand for our class. Which one do you think is the best? Why do you think so?
(各组轮流展示本组成果报告)
四、第三教学环节:合作交流,巩固提高

引导学生进行Job Interview小组活动,让学生对全班同学调查,询问同学们的出行方式,
练习运用所学目标语言的教学任务。
