本课是外研版小学新标准英语一年级起点二年级上册,Module9 Unit1 It’s winter.
本模块的话题是季节与着装及人们在不同季节的活动。本课课文描述了春、夏、秋、冬四个季节的气候及人们的穿着。告诉大家要遵循自然规律按照季节特征穿衣。
目标语句:It’s spring. It’s warm. We wear jackets. We don’t wear T-shirts.
语法:运用目标语句表述天气及衣着。
功能:谈论季节与着装
话题:seasons
二、学生分析
对于二年级学生来说,已经有一年的英语学习经验,他们的形象思维仍比较活跃,有了一定的学习能力,但还应注重孩子们的习惯培养。学生在一年级下学期和本册书第四模块学习过一些衣服类的名词,本课除了以前出现过的衣服类词汇,还出现了jacket, sunglasses, sweater, gloves等新词。除此之外,本课所涉及的四个季节,spring, summer, autumn, winter及表示天气的词,warm, cool, cold,动词wear也是新词,因此本课新的词汇比较多,这给教学带来了一定的难度。
三、教学目标
1.语言知识目标:
词汇:理解warm, cool, cold, jacket, sunglasses, sweater, gloves。运用词汇spring, summer, autumn, winter, wear。
语法与功能:学生用目标语句It’s spring. It’s warm. We wear jackets. We don’t wear T-shirts.表述季节、天气及着装。

六、教学过程

greetings
Listen and do the actions. T says some phrases, Ss listen and do the actions quickly. Phrases: play football, go swimming, fly a kite, watch TV, read books, play the piano, play the drums.
Listen and chant. T plays the CD-ROM, Ss listen and chant.
ⅡPresentation
1. Lead in
T asks Ss, what’s the chant about Ss try to answer the question by answering “seasons”. If Ss can’t tell the answer, T asks when Daming goes swimming Ss may answer. T: This class we’ll learn to talk about one’s favourite season and the clothes we wear.
2. Listen and answer.
T plays the CD-ROM, Ss listen carefully and try to answer the question, how many seasons are there
T writes the seasons on the blackboard, and shows the pictures. Ss read after T.
3. A game. T shows the PPT, one of the Ss says start, T clicks, the wheel goes around, when stop, Ss should say the season out loudly.
4. Listen, repeat and answer. Q: what’s the weather like in these seasons What do people wear in these seasons. Ss read after the CD-ROM(picture by picture), then try to answer the questions.
5. T shows the word card, put them on the blackboard, then Ss try to put them in the correct order as the seasons. Then put the pictures of clothes after each season.
6. Culture. T asks, what season is it now Ss may answer it is winter. We wear coats and gloves. T shows some pictures of Australia, tells Ss it is summer in Australia. They wear…. There are different seasons in different places in the world. And people wear different clothes. We choose clothes according to different weather.
Ⅲ Practice
Guessing game. T shows some pictures of clothes, and say I wear…, Ss guess what season it is. Then say the sentences, It’s …(season). It’s …(weather). I wear…
Ask and answer. T shows some pictures of clothes as a tip, Ss ask and answer in pairs. Then report. T should give and example first. Eg: Do you wear …in spring Ss answer.
Ⅳ Production
An interview. What’s your favourite season What do you wear Ss make and interview then report. T and Ss evaluate.
