3. 1) half 名词,意为“一半;半数”,其复数形式
为 halves。“half past+基数词”表示“几点半”。
E.g. It's half past two. 是两点半。
拓展:
①“half+of+名词/代词”作主语,谓语动词由of
后面的名词或代词决定。
E.g. Half of the students in our class are from Henan.
我们班级的学生有一半来自河南。
②“数词+名词(单/复数)+and+a half” =
“数词+and+a half+名词复数”,表示
“几小时/天/月/年....半”。

4. What time is it now 用来询问当前的具体时间,
可以与What's the time now 互换。
回答时,常用“It's+钟点.”结构。其中的time是不可数名词,意为“时间”。
E.g. — What time is it now /What’s the time now

辨析:when 和 what time
单词/短语 用法
when 意为“什么时候,何时”,既可以提问年、月、日及具体时刻,也可询问某一动作发生的时间。
what time 意为“几点钟”,提问具体的时间,如几点几分。

7. 英语中,介词on、in、at后面都可以加时间,具体用法如下:
单词 用法
on 1) 具体的某一天,如某日、某节日、星期几。
2) 具体某天的上午、下午或晚上。
3) 用于词组on time意为“准时、按时”。
in 1) 表示“在......时”,用于较长的时间,指时间段。
常用于年、月、季节等前,也可用于一天的上午、下午或晚上等前。如:in the morning/evening
2) in time意为“及时”。
at 1)常用于钟点(某时刻)前。
2) 用在表示“在中午、在夜晚”的固定短语中。
如:at noon at night
