If you like chocolate, you’re not alone. Millions of people around the world say they can’t live without chocolate. But have you wondered if chocolate is bad for your health Let's separate the truth from the facts about this popular food
Chocolate makes you happy
There are over three hundred chemicals in chocolate, which make your brain active and help you feel happy. For example, theobromine (可可碱) can help produce feelings of happiness and make you feel less stressed. The caffeine(咖啡因) in chocolate can give you more energy and is also found in coffee and tea.
Chocolate makes you fat
Chocolate is commonly seen as a kind of fattening food. In fact, cocoa beans are full of antioxidants(抗氧化剂) that are good for health. However, a lot of antioxidants are removed during the process of clearing up their bitterness(苦味).Most store-bought chocolates have high sugar and fat, and only a little cocoa. Eating these and other high-fat chocolate desserts, like cakes and cookies, can really increase your weight.

It’s not chocolate itself that causes bad teeth, but the sugar in chocolate products and bad teeth-brushing habits! In fact, it’s believed that cocoa butter forms a coating over our teeth, and this might actually protect rather than hurt them

Passage Two
①Electric vehicles(电动汽车) or EVs recently have won people’s rising love. Every year, technological improvements, especially in lithium-ion battery(锂电池), make EVs rather than gas cars become more people's first choice.
②In a video about cars, Mueller, an expert in studying cars, researches into the history of electric cars and explains why they are the future of cars. He writes: I drive an electric car. I think electric cars are the future, because they are better cars. They have better torque(扭矩), acceleration(加速) and better control.
③Best of all, you never have to visit a gas station - this attracts most people. Every morning your
car is charged(充电) and ready to go. And if you are worried about the miles they can cover, that's not necessary. Almost all trips can be done in an Ev with a proper battery. And fast chargers along the way make it possible to do longer road trips if necessary. You have to rest at some stops anyway, just getting your car charged itself. What's more, batteries are getting cheaper, smaller and lighter.
④Besides, it's clean technology: a traditional gas car causes more than twice as much carbon(碳)
pollution as an Ev. Even in places that get almost all of their electricity from burning coal, an EV still pollutes less than a typical traditional gas car. Supposing a 10-year service life, a traditional car will let out 66,000 pounds more carbon pollution than an electric vehicle.
⑤Human science technology is always moving forward. However, some challenges still remain
about EVs, such as the set of charging stop, the over cost of electricity, battery life and so on. According to the present situation of Eys, scientists and researchers need to have a careful look and
study on it further

( ) 7、[思维导图]Read the passage and complete the mind map.

③There are 13 steps to make it, including drying, shaking and roasting(烘烤). Drying is always the first step. And the most difficult is shaking. It takes strength(力气) and patience to shake the tea leaves by holding the round bamboo trays(竹盘). “You have to decide when the best time is to stop based on the color," Zhang said. "Sometimes you stop after shaking dozens of(几十) times, while sometimes it can be hundreds of times. Only years of experience can help you make it successfully. " And the tea makers always try their best and keep practicing their skills.
④The last step - roasting - is also important. It decides the quality and it usually takes more than 20 hours! The temperatures must be between 125℃ and 155C. So tea makers have to keep a close eye on the process. “Every 50 minutes, you have to turn over the leaves, or they might burn," Zhang said. All the tea makers never stop becoming better and better.
⑤The most wonderful part of making Wuyi Rock Tea is that every step is full of changes - different tea trees, weather and temperatures. Every time is an adventure(冒险).
⑥However, behind every step lies the rigor (严谨) of Chinese people as well as the clever ideas of how to deal with changes.

With thin wrappers, fresh stuffing, special shapes, nice smell and delicious taste, dumplings are worth eating hundreds of times. At the Spring Festival and other celebrations, or 3 treating relatives and friends, Chinese people like to follow the tradition of eating dumplings. To Chinese people, having dumplings at the moment when the old year is replaced by the new is the most important part of 4 goodbye to the old and welcoming the new year.
Chinese kung fu

Chinese characters
At first, Chinese characters were just simple pictures used to help people remember things.

Chinese characters have something 8 common with other Chinese traditional everyday things like chopsticks and buildings like Siheyuan. They are usually round outside and square inside, which comes from ancient Chinese beliefs of an orbicular sky and a rectangular Earth(天圆地方), also known as “Harmony is what matters”.
