仁爱版九年级Unit 4 Topic 3 Section C The importance of computers.
1.整体设计思路、指导依据,说明。
本课是九年级Unit4 Topic 3 Section C是一篇阅读文谈论电脑在工作和休闲领域的运用及电脑给人们带来的一些弊病,最终引导学生要善用电脑。1a两个问题是用于课前思考,电脑到底在哪些领域被使用,让学生课前思考并举例。本课主活动是1a和2。1a介绍了电脑在各行各业中的作用,也提醒了学生要合理地利用电脑和网络。在这个信息爆炸的时代,学生很容易迷失方向,辨别信息的真假尤其重要。1b既可以通过提纲式结构来巩固1a的内容,也可以让学生学习在写作中运用这种方法来草拟提纲。2这个写作任务,可以让学生充分发挥想象,如果没有了电脑,生活会变成什么样子。这从另一个角度让学生感受电脑对我们生活的重大影响。
本课是阅读文的教学,阅读文教学侧重于培养学生对语篇阅读能力的理解和英语文化素养的培养与提高,读(skim)、扫读(scan )或跳读(skip)、细读、精读,本课共有11个生词,我把生词的教学融入到电脑的话题中,通过引导师生之间对话所产生的语境让学生在真实的语境中完成单词的教学。然后让学生快速通读全文,找出每段文章的段落的中心句,在让学生精读第一段,填完表格,并使用表格简要的复述第一段文章,接着让学生精读第二段,回答问题,精读第三段,判断正误。再让学生完成1B的diagram.然后做一个debating来谈论电脑的优缺点,最后完成课本的2B部分写作,指导学生完成写作,学生展示作品,最后做Summary,完成本课教学
总之,整堂课以电脑话题为线索由词汇教学过渡到课文教学,先整体感知课文,局部分解,再到课文拓展,最后重新组装新的文章,采用总-分-总的顺序进行教学,在整个教学过程中设置不同的任务,将教学内容有机地融入各项任务中,使学生在实践任务过程中感知和运用语言。从而完成目标语言的教学。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:
1.仁爱英语九年级上册Unit4Topic3的教学内容是谈论是电脑。承接了上一个Topic谈论科技的话题,也复习和巩固了前面刚学的定语从句。
2.作为话题的第三课,学习有关电脑的重要性,为Section D学习话题,同时具有为后面的学习机器人话题做铺垫也为后面学习扫清语言和词汇障碍的作用。
所以,结合以上两点可以看出,本课起到了承上启下的作用,有着延续、拓展并加深的意义,在这一话题中有着重要的地位。
学生情况分析:
九年级学生对英语有一定的语言功底和语法基础,听、说、读、写较强、能够表达自己思想的能力,也具备了一定的探讨能力和合作探究能力。针对学生们的这些特点,我借助形象、直观、生动的多媒体辅助和故事的手段吸引学生的注意力完成词汇教学,采用指导阅读文技巧,让学生学会语篇阅读的基本方法,最后辩论赛的方式,引导学生积极主动地参与到课堂活动中来说,最后通过自合作、探究、讨论和交流小组合作方式,完成写作,训练学生的写作能力。
3.教学目标分析
一、知识目标:
1.学习并掌握新的词汇:entertainment, doubt, tiny, inside, normally, brain, cancel, connect ,
no doubt, for instance.
2.学习并掌握:There is no doubt that computers are useful in technology and business.
Robots are controlled by computers that are like human brains.
More and more people have personal computers that are used to play games.
能力目标:
1. 掌握本课的重点词汇和短语,能够判断出定语从句的简单规则。
2.能够简单讲诉电脑的优缺点。
3. 掌握基本的阅读技巧,能够快速找出每段的中心句,能够根据问题快速找出有效信息,同时关注细节。
情感目标:
电脑和网络是个双刃剑,在利用它来服务于生活、学习的同时,不能沉溺于游戏游戏,引导学生要自觉远离不良信息的诱惑。

教学重点:
1.新单词和新词组entertainment, doubt, tiny, inside, normally, brain, cancel, connect ,

2.掌握句型:There is no doubt that computers are useful in technology and business.

1. 阅读文语篇的处理,学生学习策略的指导。
2.定语从句的简单规则。

5.教学过程设计
步骤1:话题导入和词汇教学(时间8分钟)
1.问学生Do you like computers? If you have a computer, what will you do with it?引导学生讲用电脑来看电影,听音乐,玩游戏,从而导出entertainment娱乐这个生词。再让学生看两张电脑大小不一的图片,引出tiny这个生词,再微电脑在医疗领域中的运用,引出inside ,brain, connect, normally等生词的教学。在新词语音和词义的教学同时,引导学生关注构词法。
【设计意图:使用电脑这个话题,在创设的语境中,通过故事情节,一步一步引导学生在语境中学生生词,一方面便于学生理解、记忆,另一方面让枯燥的词汇教学变得很有意思,学生很乐意学。】
2.Free talk。
全班来抢答,老师举例电脑在医疗领域的运用,让学生回答电脑在其他什么领域可以运用并让学生举例。(利用抢答的方式,增强游戏的紧张感)。
【设计意图:新课标倡导的“玩中学,学中玩”理念非常适合初中学生的特点。设计这个游戏一来为了活跃课堂气氛,激发学生学习兴趣;二来为接下来的新课学习做铺垫。】
3.总结
谈论了电脑在医疗和其它各个领域的运用,总结电脑非常有用,非常自然的引出生词There is no doubt that的句型,同时教学doubt ,no doubt的生词。
步骤2:语篇处理(时间12分钟)

3. 根据表格复述第一段
【设计意图:学生通过表格更容易理解电脑在各个领域中的使用,使用表格简要的复述课文,可以降低学生复述课文的难度。】
4.让学生仔细的阅读文章的第二段,回答问题What great changes have taken place by the Internet ?同时把该段的内容进行小拓展,提供一个问题:除了文中提到的观点,还有哪些变化,请发表自己的观点。
5. 让学生仔细的阅读文章的第三段,判断正确和错误。
【设计意图:这部分的设计是引导学生在寻找有效信息的同时,让他们关注文章的细节。】
6.让学生完成课本1B
核对答案后,要引导学生对表格有深入的理解,这是文章的脉络和提纲,学生写作可以借鉴,同时引导学生知道作者的观点,让学生在日常的学习、生活中要合理的利用电脑。
【设计意图:让学生重新整体感知全文,一方面指导学生使用类似的提纲进行写作,另一方面引导学生了解作者的观点,要合理的使用电脑。进行情感教学。】
步骤3:巩固(时间8分钟)
巩固1a
让学生做一个辩论赛,辩论电脑是好还是不好。
规则:把学生分为两组,男生一组和女生一组,双方各出一个代表采用锤子、剪刀、布的方式选择正方还是反方,正方讲电脑的有点,反方讲电脑的缺点,在两分钟内哪方说的最多,哪方就是获胜方。
【设计意图:在学生整体感知,局部分解课文后,让学生就课文的内容适当的拓展,创设情景运用所学的表达,训练学生综合运用语言的能力,采用辩论赛的方式,可以提高学生的积极性。】
步骤4:练习(时间6分钟)
讲解课文的知识点
主要是讲解定语从句,采用归纳、演绎法。先举出一个例子,让学生找出课文中相似的句子,然后,让学生判断出这些是哪种从句,总结出定语从句的规则。最后再用例子巩固一下。
【设计意图:采用归纳、演绎法巩固并总结所学重要句型,加深对定语从句的理解和记忆。】
步骤5:综合探究活动(时间8分钟)
小组活动
把班级分为四人一组,简单的讨论之后,写一篇想象的文章,由小组长展示出来。
