watch、look、see和read都有“看”的意思,但具体“看法”有别:
词条 区别
watch 指集中注意力观看,如看电视、看比赛等
look 指有意识地、有目的地“看”,强调看的动作,为不及物动词,若接看的对象,常与at连用
see 强调看的结果,为及物动词,也可用于see a doctor/a movie等固定短语中
read 多指“看书;看报”,可作及物动词或不及物动词

短语how much可用来询问价格,也可用来提问数量的多少,主要用法如下:
(1)how much可用于询问事物数量,后面接不可数名词;而how many后面接可数名词的复数。
(2)how much可用于询问物体的重量。
(3)how much询问“多少钱”时,可单独使用,也可构成词组how much money,但英语中常省略money。
1.在句型“How much+be +主语?”中,be动词的单复数由其后的主语来决定,如果主语是不可数名词或可数名词单数,be动词一般用is;若主语是复数, be动词一般用are。
2.询问价格的四种句型:
price表示价格“高、低”时,用high或low,不能用expensive或cheap。
