一、岗位
我总是放在句首，用来引导疑问句。作为疑问词我可以单独出现，也可以后面跟名词结伴而行。请看我的即兴表演：
1. Which do you like, the toy car or the red balloon? 你喜欢哪一个，玩具车还是红色气球？
2. Which season do you like best? 你最喜欢哪个季节？
二、职责
有些同学常常把我和what相混淆，这里可要提醒你：我适用于“选择范围较小或较明确的场合”；what则没有这个限制。例如：
Which colour do you like better, blue or green? 蓝色和绿色，你更喜欢哪种颜色？
What’s your favourite colour? 你最喜欢的颜色是什么？

最爱哪一季？
season可是本单元的明星单词，在文中频频露脸，它的家族成员包括spring, summer, autumn和winter。可以说season家族掌握着一年四季的交替变化。
每个人都有自己喜欢的季节，那么如何用英语进行表达呢？
【会话】
1. —Which season do you like best, Susan? 苏姗，你最喜欢哪个季节？
—Spring. 春天。
2. —What’s your favourite season? 你最喜欢的季节是什么？
—My favourite season is Summer. 我最喜欢夏天。
【点拨】
Which season do you like best? 与What’s your favourite season?是一组同义句，都是用来询问“对方最喜欢的季节是什么”。
此外，要表达在某一个季节，需要在季节名词前面加上in, 如：
I often fly a kite in spring. 在春天我常放风筝。
It’s very hot here in summer. 这里的夏天非常炎热。

辅音连缀/??/, /??/如何读
【博士】在第1期中我们学习了辅音连缀/kl/，/pl/，本期我们接着学习/??/, /??/的发音。跳跳虎，你能举出含有这两个辅音连缀的单词吗？
【？】我发现辅音连缀经常出现在单词的开头，发/gr/的单词有：green, grow, grass,等；发/??/的单词有：brown, breakfast, brother等。
【博士】 Cool! 有时辅音连缀还会出现在单词中间，处在一个音节的开头部分，如um-brel-la; li-brar-y。跳跳虎，学好辅音连缀要注意什么呢？
【？】读辅音连缀时，最容易犯的小毛病就是在两个辅音之间加一个元音，比如: green容易错读成“哥瑞”，这是不对的。
【博士】说得好！发音时，辅音连缀的第一个辅音要轻而短，并且很快滑向第二个辅音，注意力要放在第二个辅音与后面元音的拼读上。
