教学设计
一、教学内容分析
本模块是八年级上册的第九模块,以“人口”为主要话题,涉及环境污染,交通堵塞、城市发展等内容。这些话题看似比较抽象,但是与学生的生活实际紧密相关,学生在现实中对于这些问题也有所体会。本模块通过听、说、读、写活动帮助学生掌握大数字的表达方法及冠词的正确使用,并且帮助学生了解人口过剩产生的后果,从而增强学生控制人口数量、保护环境的意识。
本模块计划五课时完成,本课是第五课时,课型是写作课。本课写作活动要求学生以自己的家乡为例,探讨人口过剩造成的环境问题和社会问题,并且寻求解决方案。
学情分析
学生通过对第九模块第一单元的学习,能够对大数字进行拼读和识认;通过对话中涉及的人口增长报告注意到“人口增长过快”这个问题,并且了解造成该问题的原因;在第二单元的学习中,学生能够根据文中涉及的城市及周边地区的发展变化联想到现实情况,从而将本模块的话题具体化,深刻思考人口增长带来的问题,这为本课的写作任务做好话题上的准备。
学生通过前两个模块的学习已经掌握对于人口的表达方法,并且掌握相关重要词汇、短语和句型来简要描述人口过剩产生的后果,这为本模块的写作任务做好语言上的准备。
三、教学目标
1.语言知识目标:
1、能够准确地识认和读出某地的人口数,并且能够在写作中将其准确地表述出来;
2、能够熟练运用increase, cause, solve, problem, pollution, huge, heavy, crowded等词汇得体地描述人口增长带来的问题及解决方案;
3、能够正确并合理地使用连接词so, because, but, and表述逻辑关系。
2.语言技能目标:
能够描述人口与环境类的问题,并提出解决方案。
3. 情感目标:
了解目前世界面临的人口问题,结合自己所在的城市及周边地区的实际情况思考人口过剩、噪音、污染等问题及产生的后果,从而增强学生的全球意识和控制人口数量、保护环境的意识。
四、教学重点和难点
重点:通过分级写作的方式让学生能够学会如何描述人口与环境类的问题,并提出解决方案。
难点:培养学生在英语写作过程中逻辑思维的养成。

Step 5 Post-writing
