Section A(1a-1c) 教学设计
一.学情分析:
八年的学生经过一年的英语学习的培养,已具有一定的英语综合能力,也积累了一定的词汇量,对空闲时间的活动已经知道如何正确表达,但农村孩子的英语基础比较薄弱,所以教材内容的选取上,我选用了教学活动1a-1c的内容,并整合了对频率的常用的问答方式,在学习过程中我通过鼓励性评价等措施,在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,创造更多的机会,鼓励他们多说英语,树立好学习英语的自信心。通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体会到成功的喜悦,从而提高学生的综合语言技能.
二. 教材(内容)解析:
本单元以“How often do you exercise?”为话题展开教学活动,中心话题是free time activities,主要语言功能是talk about how often people do things。首先学会恰当的使用频率副词及短语,在学会描述课余时间的活动安排和基本饮食结构。通过复习七年级学习过的动词短语及本单元的听力练习,使学生积极参与,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。教材在本单元的开篇,即本课时的内容,安排了关于课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词和动词短语.
三.教学目标:
1,语言知识目标:
1)能掌握以下单词:housework ,hardly ,ever,hardly ever,once,twice,Internet,program。
2)能掌握并运用以下句型:
(1)---What do you do on weekend
---He usually watches TV。
(2) ---How often do you watch TV
---I watch TV every day.
---Do he go shopping
---No, he never go shopping.
3)能了解以下语法:
频率副词及一般现在时简单谈论周末活动情况。
2、能力目标:
1(1) Train student’s listening skill.
(2) Make sure that students can talk about often they do things.
3、情感态度价值观目标:
通过本课的学习,养成健康的习惯,进行合理的锻炼,以保持健康的体魄。培养学生的逻辑表达能力,激发学生的积极思维,并使学生互相了解,增进友谊,加强人际交往,以形成良好的人际关系。
四.教学重点与难点:
1.教学重点:
对6个频率副词细微差异的理解及使用。
弄清一般现在时在不同人称下动词形式及提问的变化。
2.教学难点:
第三人称单数谓语动词在此核心句型中的运用。
谈论课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词。
五.资源与工具:
教材,powerpoint, 听力音频,图片,多媒体。
六.教学过程预设:
在以下几个主要教学过程中,我设置一些预设:
1. Lead in:
Boys and girls! What do you usually do on weekends
2. Writing (1a):
Look at the pictures .Discuss with your partners. Make a list of the weekend activities. Students may write different answers.
3. After listening:
Boys and girls! After listening to the tape, can you find some rules about adverbs of frequency
七.教学过程:
Step1: Lead in
Show a canlender about “weekend”
T: I usually go shopping, listen to music and look after my daughter, What about you What do you usually do on weekends
S: I usually…on weekends.
设计思想:通过个人的周末,引导学生说出自己的周末活动。
Step 2: Presentation
T : What do you usually do on weekends?板书让学生根据自己的实际回答。
I usually ……on weekends。
教师出示动词图片:do homework, do some cleaning, read books go shopping, surf the internet, watch TV。让学生回答。
设计思想:通过真实形象的图片,激发学生学习英语的积极性,同时能高效地记住这些短语。
Step 3: Writing (1a):
Look at the pictures .Discuss with your partners. Make a list of the weekend activities.
Ask students to write the answers on the blackboard.
设计思想:通过讨论,培养学生小组合作的能力;通过写出答案,锻炼学生写的能力。
Step 4: Presentation
1. Present adverbs of frequency, tell students the meaning and usage of the words.
2. 通过柱状图,给学生展示频率副词的频率: Always(100%)>usually(80%)>often(30-50%)>sometimes(20%)>hardly ever(5%)>never(0)
设计思想:通过柱状图,使学生更形象的记住这些频率副词的使用频率。
Step 5: Practice
Show a picture, ask students to make a conversation according to the adverbs of frequency:
What does she do on weekends
She always does her homework.
设计思想:通过把频率副词放在句子中应用,提高学生语言应用的能力。
Step 6: Listening (1b)
Listen and write the activities next to the correct frequency words.
Check the answers:

设计思想:听力部分,一边听,一边写出短语,培养学生听和写的能力。
Step 7: After listening
Show the tapescripts, tell students:
频率副词在句中的位置:实义动词之前, be动词、助动词、情态动词之后。
Step 8: Pairwork (1c)
Show an example:
-What do you do on weekends
-I usually watch TV.
-Do you go shopping
-No, I never go shopping.
设计思想:通过编造对话,锻炼学生口语表达能力和小组合作的能力。
Step 9: Exercise
Show some exercise on the screen, let students write the answers on the paper, then check the answers.
Step 10: Summary
1. 表示活动的短语:
help with housework, exercise, go shopping...
2. 频度副词:
always, usually, often, sometimes, often,
sometimes, hardly ever, never.
3. 重点句子:
What do you do on weekends
Step 10:Homework
Write a short passage about your family's activities by using frequency words.
八.学习评价:
英语新课程标准倡导任务型教学模式,即让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知,实践,参与和合作等方式,实现该任务的目标,感受成功,因此本课多在课堂设计上下功夫,注意联系实际让学生在小组合作中学会英语,掌握英语,运用英语。本单元我采用的教学方法有:情境教学法,多媒体课件辅导教学法,合作学习法及循序渐进法。通过多媒体,图片等创设语言情景,真正做到寓教于乐。
教师不仅是知识的传播者,更是教会学生学习方法,发展思维的引导者。鉴于所学单词及句型特点及学生现有水平。引导学生通过看,听,说,读,观察比较等方法来学习本课。
