Most of the time, people will not reveal their names, and will use special email addresses. This makes advice blogs very popular, as the persons seeking advice can ask embarrassing or difficult questions without revealing their identity.

Language points
if引导的条件状语从句
if （如果）引导的条件状语从句表示主句动作发生的条件，表示假如有从句的动作发生才会有主句的动作发生。
一、if从句的时态
1.主句用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来。
eg.
If you ask him, he will help you．
如果你请他帮忙,他会帮你的。
If you fail in the exam, you will let him down．
如果你考试不及格,你会让他失望的。
2. 当主句含有情态动词时，从句通常用一般现在时。
eg.
If it stops snowing, we can go out.
如果雪停了,我们就可以出去。
二、主、从句位置：
if 引导的条件状语从句位置灵活，可直接放在主句后面，也可以放在句首。放在句首时，从句后面要用逗号和主句隔开。
eg.
If you have finished dinner, I’ll ask the waiter for the bill.
= I’ll ask the waiter for the bill if you have finished dinner .
如果你吃完了,我就叫服务生来算账。
规律一 主句通常前面走，从句紧紧跟在后。
从句如在主句前，从句之后加逗点。
规律二 主将从现:
If you get up late, you’ll be late for school.
主将从祈:
Work hard, and you’ll pass the exam.
主情从现:
If you feel tired, you must have a rest.
1) If从句用一般现在时，主句用一般将来时。

2) if从句用一般现在时，主句用情态动词+动原

If 从句与主句的时态搭配
1)借助“祈使句+and/or +陈述句”来转换。

= Hurry up, or you’ll be late.
2)借助介词with或without来转换。
If you help me, I’ll finish my job soon.
= With your help, I’ll finish my job soon.
If there is no water, the fish will die.
= The fish will die without water.
