第一课时 Section A(1a—2d)
教学目标:

教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
Ask some questions about their summer vacation.

Step 2 Work on 1a
Show the picture on the page 1 of the textbook.Let students discuss these activities and name each activity.
1a Match the activities with the pictures[a—g].

Step 3 Listening 1
1b Listen and number the people in the picture[1—5].
(1)Let students look at the picture again and say what the people did in the picture.
(2)Play the tape and ask students to fill in the blanks with the numbers.Then check the answers.
Step 4 Group work on 1c
1c Make conversations about the people in the picture.
The students practice reading the conversation in 1c.Then make their own conversations according to the activities in 1a.
Step 5 Listening 2
2a Listen.Where did the people go on vacation Complete the chart.
(1)Tell students they will hear three conversations about three people’s vacations.Match the people with the activities correctly.
(2)Play the tape and let students fill in the blanks.Then check the answers.

(1)Ask students to skim the conversation in 2d and answer the following questions.

重点:掌握一般过去时的疑问句式及其回答;掌握动词的过去式;掌握不定代词 的用法。

(1)Ask students to read the Grammar Focus first.
(2)Ask students to focus on the usage of indefinite pronouns.

复合不定代词
1.概念
不明确指代某个人、某个事物,某些人、某些事物的代词叫不定代词。由some-,any-,every-,no-与-one,-thing,-body等构成的代词称为复合不定代词,可作主语、宾语、表语和补足语等。
2.具体用法
(1)something意为“某物;某事”,常用于肯定句中,也可以用于征求意见的疑 问句中。
(2)anything意为“任何事;某事”,常用于否定句和疑问句中,还可以用于条件 状语从句或肯定句中。
(3)everything意为“每件事;一切事物”,可用于肯定句、疑问句或否定句中。
(4)nothing意为“没有什么;没有东西”。
(5)someone/somebody意为“某人;有人”,常用于肯定句中。
(6)anyone/anybody意为“任何人”,常用于否定句或疑问句中,也可以用于状语 从句中。
(7)everyone/everybody意为“每个人;所有人”,常用于肯定句中。
(8)no one意为“没有人”。
【注意】复合不定代词作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。形容词修饰复合不定代词时,常置于复合不定代词之后。
