Using the correct plural forms of body parts in sentences. 2. Understanding and expressing ideas in conversations about robots. Teaching Methods: 1. Communicative teaching method to encourage students to communicate actively. 2. Task-based teaching method to help students complete specific tasks. 3. Audio-visual teaching method to enhance students' understanding through multimedia. Teaching Procedure: Step 1: Warming up (5 minutes) 1. Greet the students and have a free talk about their daily life. 2. Play a short video about body parts to arouse students' interest. Step 2: Presentation (10 minutes) 1. Show pictures of different body parts and teach the vocabulary. T: Look at this picture. What's this (Point to a mouth) S: Mouth. T: Very good. And this (Point to a nose) S: Nose. 2. Do some actions to help students remember the words. For example, touch your ears when saying "ears". Step 3: Practice (10 minutes) 1. Show the clues on the PPT and ask students to guess the body parts. T: You can talk with it. It's the... (Give students time to think and answer) S: Mouth. 2. Have students work in pairs. One gives the clue and the other guesses. Step 4: Reading and Comprehension (10 minutes) 1. Play the audio of the passage about Robin the robot. 2. Ask students some questions to check their understanding. T: What languages can Robin speak S: English and Chinese. T: What can Robin do to help Danny S: Robin can help Danny with his housework. Step 5: Conversation and Role-play (5 minutes) 1. Present the conversation between Robin and Alice. 2. Have students complete the conversation and then role-play it in pairs. Step 6: Extension (3 minutes) Ask students if they like robots and why. Encourage them to express their opinions freely. Step 7: Summary and Homework (2 minutes) 1. Summarize the key points of the lesson. 2. Ask students to draw a picture of a robot and introduce it to their parents in English.
