The 11 digits can be divided into three parts. Each part has a different meaning. The first three digits tell you which mobile phone service provider you are using. Imagine an expressway (高速公路) that can circle around the earth more than three and a half times! China is home to the world's largest expressway network (网), with a total length of 160,000 kilometers at the end of 2020. By 2035, the expressway network will cover all cities and counties, China Daily reported.
The expressway's blueprint (蓝图) was first announced in 1981, when China was still at the early stage of Reform and Opening up (改革开放).The rapid growth of the economy (经济) called for more convenient transportation. The expressway's blueprint (蓝图) was first announced in 1981, when China was still at the early stage of Reform and Opening up (改革开放).The rapid growth of the economy (经济) called for more convenient transportation.
