【课堂学习】
任务一
1.两人一组讨论Activity1的图片并且描述它。
2. 听听力回答Activity2的问题,同桌间互相核对答案,老师抽查。
任务二
1.听Activity3录音,用笔划出含有will的句子,小组间根据所划出的句子理解其用法,进而理解对话内容。
2.朗读课文,进一步理解对话,完成Activity3的表格。
3. 根据对话先自行完成Activity4的习题,然后小组间检查。
任务三
两人一组运用所学的短语及句型展开对话,讨论一下十年后你的学校将是什么样的,老师抽查两组课堂展示(根据Activity 7、8)
【精讲点拨】
1.—Will our life be different in the future 我们的生活在将来会不同吗 —Yes, it will.
1) 本句是含有will的的一般疑问句,表示一般将来时态。will是情态动词,本身无人称
和数的变化。可用于描述未来的事情或表达对将来的预测。否定形式will not = won’t.
结构为:Will + 主语+ 动原 + 其他? 回答:Yes, 主语+ will. / No, 主语+ won’t.
2)in the future “在将来”,介词短语,在句中作时间状语,常用于将来时。
Nobody knows what will happen in the future. 没有人知道将来会发生什么。
What are you going to be in the future 你将来要当什么?
3) 1ife 生活,生命
Life is like a box of chocolates. 生活就像是一盒巧克力。
live a happy / hard life 过着幸福的/ 艰难的生活 (强调某种生活方式)
当life表示“生命,人命”讲时,是可数名词,复数形式是lives.
Many people lost their lives in the fire. 许多人在那次大火中丧生。
2. change意为“改变,交换"
He wants to change his job. 他要调换工作。
Let me change seats with you. 我和你换个座位吧。
3. In twenty years’ time, maybe there won’t be any schools!
1) in + 一段时间 表示“一段时间之后”,常用于将来时。可用how soon 提问。
The workers will finish the work in two weeks. 工人们两周后就能完成这项工作。
—How soon will you be back 你什么时候回来? —In a month. 一个月之后。
—How soon will the film begin —In five minutes.
2)maybe 副词“也许”,一般在句首做状语,表示没有把握的推测。
Maybe Lucy will come this afternoon.
Maybe there will be more cars in the future. 未来可能有更多的汽车。
4. They can ask their teachers questions by Internet, telephone or email.
by 介词,“通过….;用….”。表示方式手段。by+名词时,用名词的单数形式;接动词时,用Ving。
We can talk to our friends by Internet.
He is going to Beijing by train.
【拓展】对“by+方式”短语进行提问时,使用how:
—How does he go to school. —By bus.
5. Computers won’t be able to do that.
be able to “能够,会,胜任”,后接动词原形。否定形式在be后加not.
Come on! I think you’ll be able to pass the exam.
He will be able to sing this song in English in a few hours. 几个小时之后,他将能用英语唱这首歌。
【区分】be able to do sth. 侧重通过努力而获得的能力;can表示有能力做某事。
11. Teachers won’t use chalk on a blackboard and students won’t use pens and paper, or erasers any more!
not …. any more “不再….”, 其中not用在be、助动词或情态动词之后,相当于no more,强调某一个动作不再发生或重复。
After leaving school, he is not a student any more. = he is no more a student.
I don’t like junk food any more. 我不再喜欢垃圾食品了。

【精讲点拨】
1. What will life be like in the future 未来的生活会怎么样?
What will sth.be like 某物将会是什么样子的呢?
2. Which ones will come true 其中那些会变成现实呢? come true 变成现实
例如:He hopes his dreams come true.他希望他的梦想成真。
3. The sea level will rise as well. 海平面也会升高。as well “也”相当于too.
4. No more expensive cars – it’ll be cheap to travel everywhere by plane, not only over land, but also over the sea or even into space.
“not only … but also…” 表示“不但······而且······”
例如She can not only swim but also surf.她不但会游泳,还会冲浪。
注意: “not only …but also…” 在连接主语时,谓语动词的单复数要由but also 后面的人称的单复数决定。
例如: 1) Not only I but also my father likes watching television. 不仅我,连我父亲也喜欢看电视。
2) Not only I but also my parents like watching television. 不仅我, 连我父母 也喜欢看电视。
