足语 常接形容词作宾语补足语的动词有find,get,have,keep,leave,let,make, think等 The loud music makes me nervous.
作状语 用来表达主语的状态 I came back home, tired and hungry.
1. “the+形容词”表示一类人或物。如:the old老年人, the young年
轻人
2. 重点句型:
It is+形容词+(for/of sb.)+to do sth.做某事是……的/某人做某事
是……的。如:
It’s useful for us to learn a foreign language.
It’s kind of you to help me.
Sb.find(s)/think(s) it+形容词+to do sth.某人发现/认为做某事
是……的。如:
He found it difficult to finish the work by himself.
2. 特殊词形的形容词
大部分形容词在词尾加-ly可构成副词,如quickly, warmly等,但
部分以-ly结尾的单词是形容词,如friendly,lively,lovely,lonely,
ugly等。
3. -ed形容词和-ing形容词
-ed形容词用来描述人的感受,意为“(某人)感到……”;-ing
形容词用来描述引起人的某种感受的事物,意为“(某事物)令
人……”或“令人……的(事物)”。如:
He read an interesting book yesterday. It made him become interested in
insects.他昨天读了一本有趣的书。这本书让他对昆虫产生了兴趣。

及物动词和副词(如 on, off, up, down, in, out, over等)构成的动词短语:若宾语为名词,放在副词的前后均可;若宾语为代词,则要放在动词与副词之间。如:
I’d like to take off my coat. It’s so hot here.
我想把我的外套脱掉。这儿太热了。(my coat放在off的前后均可)
You’d better try it on, or you won’t know whether it’s small or not.
你最好试穿一下,否则你就不知道它是否会小。(it必须放在try与on之间)

3. 原级、比较级和最高级的用法

表示“像……一样……”时: as+原级+as+用作比喻的名词 My mother is always as busy as a bee.

1. 原级可以用表示程度的副词very, so, too, enough, quite等来修
饰。如:
Nelly sang so well! 奈利唱得那么好!
2. 比较级前可以用much, even, far, a little, a bit, a lot等来
修饰。如:
Why not get up a little earlier than yesterday 为什么不比昨天早一点儿起床呢?
3. 只有同类事物才能比较,有时为了避免重复,可用the one, that,
those代替前面出现过的名词。如:
The weather here is hotter than that of Beijing.
这里的天气比北京的天气热
一些。
4. 最高级前面由形容词性物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格等修饰
时,不能再加the。如:
He is my best friend. 他是我最好的朋友。
5. 副词最高级前一般不加定冠词the。如:
Lin Tao runs fastest of all. 林涛在所有人当中跑得最快。
