命题点 动词不定式
知识必备 动词不定式的基本结构是“to+动词原形(有时可省略to)”,其否定形式为“not to+动词原形”。
1. 动词不定式的常见功能

功能 结构 相关词汇

的 状语 to do sth./in order to do sth./so as to do sth.三者可以互换,有时
为了表示强调,可以把表示目的的动词不定式放于句首
1. 当两个或者多个作用相同的动词不定式并列时,只需在第一个不定式
前加to。如果两者有对比关系,则后一个不定式的to不可省略。如:
The boss asked Tim to go and find out if there was anyone else absent.老板
让蒂姆去看看有没有人缺席。
I haven’t decided to stay at home or to travel to Beijing this holiday.我还没
决定假期是待在家里还是去北京旅行。
【注意】
2. 感官动词后接不带to的动词不定式作宾补,强调动作经常发生或发生
的全过程;接现在分词时则强调动作正在进行。如:
I saw him playing basketball when I passed the playground.我经过操场时,
看见他正在打篮球。
2. 使用动词不定式的常见句型
句型 示例
It’s+adj.+for sb.to do sth. It is important for us to learn English well.
It’s+adj.+of sb.to do sth. It is very kind of you to take me here.
It takes sb.some time/money to do sth. It takes us two days to repair this bike.
句型 示例
It’s time for sb.to do sth. It’s time for us to do something for our
parents.
There is no need (for sb.) to do sth. There is no need for you to get up early
tomorrow.
疑问词+动词不定式 I don’t quite know what to do next.
3. 省略to的常见情况
句型 示例
had better (not) do sth. In order to show our respect for others, we had better listen to them first.
would rather (not) do sth. Kids would rather play than study.
Why not do sth. /Why don’t you do sth. Why don’t you get yourself a car

1. 动词的-ing形式【新课标三级+,仅作理解】
动词的-ing形式与现在分词同形。既有动词的性质,也有名词的
性质,在句中可作主语、宾语、表语、定语、宾语补足语和状语等。

作宾语 只能用动词的-ing形式作宾语的动词或短语:avoid, consider, enjoy, finish, imagine, mind, miss, practice, suggest, be busy, be/get used to, be worth, can’t stand, feel like, give up, look forward to, keep on等 I can’t imagine marrying such a man.
I will never give up doing sports because I hope to be healthier.
功能 用法 示例
作宾语 有些动词或短语既可接动词不定式,又可接动词的-ing形式作宾语,但含义不同。如:forget to do sth.忘记要去做某事;forget doing sth.忘记做了某事(更多相关词汇见“词汇默写册”附录P68) I forgot to ask him for his address.

宾语,两者之间为被动关系 They found the room stolen.
功能 形式及用法 示例
作状语 动词的-ing形式或动词的-ed形式,在句中作时间、原因、条件、结果、让步、伴随状语等。区别在于:动词的-ing形式和主语之间是主动关系;动词的-ed形式和主语之间是被动关系 Not knowing his address, I can’t send this book to him.
