热身 学生与教师进行简单对话:How do you come to school every morning 教师观察学生能否参与互动和交流,主动分享个人对该主题已有的知识和经验。 根据学生的读图能力,听前猜测图片顺序的能力,评价其利用情境推断对话内容的能力。 教师根据学生朗读词组,运用词组描述故事梗概的情况,及时提供帮助。 教师观察学生在worksheet上记录关键词的情况,判断其获取并记录信息的全面和准确程度。
针对目标1 (在看、听、 说的活动中,获取、理解对话中Jimmy的志愿者故事)开展的活动。 1.学生进入主题情境:山区的孩子没有自行车,我们要如何帮助他们? 2.学生基于四幅图片,预测Jimmy会如何帮助 山区儿童,感知新语言:fix up 3.学生听第一遍对话,对图片进行排序,了解 Jimmy的故事梗概(听力策略:听前预测顺序)。 4.在校对图片顺序的过程中,学生进一步习得 语言:give away> run out of 5.学生运用所学短语简述Jimmy的故事。 6.学生再次听对话,深入理解对话内容(听力策略:Note-taking)。用释义和列举的方法理解短语take after的含义,模仿朗读重点语句,并给予Jimmy筹钱的建议。
设计意图:本阶段的活动创设了情境,帮助学生在情境中学习词汇和核心语言;学生通过两次听力练习,对Jimmy的故事理解由浅入深,在听的过程中,培养学生听前读图,听前预测,听中记录关键信息的能力。另外,听说活动紧密结合,学生需要运用所学词组简单描述Jimmy的故事,模仿朗读重点句型,给予Jimmy筹钱的建议,培养了学生的表达能力。
针对目标2(在教师的 帮助下,理解釆访的逻辑框架,感悟语轮推进的方 式)开展的活动。 7.学生在老师的引领下观察interview的构成 Brief introduction (学生找出句子,并聆听句子,感受到重音的使用,模仿朗读。) Proper questions (学生找出记者的问句,思考和体会用陈述句来表达疑问的方式。) Positive response (学生找出记者回答的句子,通过对比的方法,让学生感受到 “积极回应”的重要性,学生模仿朗读这几个句子,关注语调和肢体语言。) 观察学生是否能够准确发现相关语言表达,能否通过聆听、质疑、对比的 方式理解釆访的三个要素,教师根据学生的表现调整提问方式,给予鼓励。 观察学生的模仿表达是否准确,把握学生对重点语言的学习和内化情况。
设计意图:本阶段的活动引导学生去发现文本的逻辑框架,去感悟话轮推进过程中积极回应的重要作用,为创新迁移搭好逻辑支架;通过朗读关键句型,模仿其语音语调,学生进一步内化重点语言,为在现实情境中运用所学做好铺垫;学生思考"That’s too bad!”的替换语句,提升语用能力。
针对目标3 (反思主人 公 volunteer 的方式,从 “心”出发, 竭尽所能帮 助他人)开 展的活动。 学生基于对对话的理解,同桌进行角色扮演。 学生反思自己是否会釆用和Jimmy 一样的方式来助人,自由发表观点,体会到最重要的是 要有一颗助人的心,然后用自己最擅长的方式, 竭尽所能地帮助他人。 教师根据学生对问 题的回应与反馈, 引导讨论和正确评 价。
设计意图:学生通过角色扮演朗读,深化文本理解,感受Jimmy的善良品质;学生反思是否会用Jimmy这样的方式来帮助他人,训练了批判性思维,培养了跨文化意识,也让学生领悟到最重要的是要有一颗善良的心,然后选择最适合的方式去帮助他人。
针对目标4 (同桌讨论班级的 Jimmy,用釆访形式向全班进行介绍)开展的活动。 同桌讨论谁是班级的Jimmy,并且根据 Checklist的要求创编新的对话。 同桌展示对话。 师生共同依据Checklist对对话进行评价。 被选为Jimmy的同学上台发表自己的感想。 教师观察同伴交流时运用语言的情况,给予鼓励和必要帮助。 观察学生向全班表 演新釆访的情况,师生共同完成评价。
设计意图:本阶段引导学生超越语篇、联系生活实际,讲讲班级里具有奉献精神的像 Jimmy一样的同学。学生需要联动新旧语言知识,充分运用釆访逻辑框架,选择适合的语音语调和肢体表现,来完成交际任务;同时学生要倾听同学的发言,做笔记做评价,提升思维品质。在完成任务的过程中,学生能感受到身边有这样具有奉献精神的 好伙伴,也愿意成为分享爱、传播爱的一份子,让我们的周边变得更加美好。
作业 1.聆听、模仿朗读课本对话(注意语音语调)。 2.学生根据checklist要求修改新创编的对话,明天英语课进行表演展示。
