八.教学反思
1.古人有言“授之以鱼,不如授之以渔 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )”在高中英语学习中,阅读是输入语言信息的重要途径之一,也是高考考察的重点能力之一,同时,扩大词汇量是学习的主要目标之一。但是词汇量的扩大是不能仅仅依赖于教师的教和讲的。因此,学生的“自主阅读及在阅读中自然习得词汇知识”在英语学习中不失为提高阅读和扩大词汇的一个好方法。
这是一节阅读课,通过我设计的泛读 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ),精读两个环节,泛读部分让学生快速阅读,概括中心,有助于训练学生整体把握大意:而精读部分进一步细读课文,了解细节,这是提高他们的阅读理解能力的重要一步。词义搭配的题目设计,为学生猜测词义起到了引导作用
2.通过“讨论”这一问题 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )的设置,同学们加深了对课文的理解,并能把所学到的知识与现实生活相联系,与自己的学习相联系,学以致用是最好的学习动力。同学们实践了小组合作性学习,进一步培养了他们团结协作的精神,起到了教育作用。并使这一节课达到了高潮,充分调动了学生的积极性及主动性。
3.整堂课的时间安排也相对合理,圆满的完成了教学任务。

I. Warming-up
Ask the students the following question:

After listening, check the answers with the students.

4. rely on= depend on 依靠、依赖

rely on 表示主观上的选择和信托,“依靠”的对象往往是主语期待成功的一个因素。

B. depend on/rely on sb.to do sth 指望某人做某事,可以通用,基本没有区别。
You can depend on/rely on her to be late.你可以担保她必定迟到。
C. depend on 还表示“取决于,得看……”

It all depends.一切看情况而定。
D. rely on 还表示“信任”,相当于trust.
