When I was 12 years old, I spent most of my free time reading. But sadly, not everyone around me enjoyed reading as much as I did, and not being able to talk about my favorite hobby with my friends made my reading a lonely experience.
In my senior year of high school, I met a channel, “Clau Reads Books” run by Claudia Ramirez Lomeli, who makes book-related content in Spanish, and was introduced to the book world of social media. I could finally hear someone else’s reaction to the stories I like. I love her videos because we prefer the same kind of books. Finally, I followed her on another social networking site, and I learned about the community on it where users blog about their favorite books. I really wanted to be part of this space and seeing others being so interested and supportive like an acceptable community. However, I doubted my ability to express my ideas well because I did not know much about how to make readers interested.
Therefore, I started reading blogs on how to start a new account (账户) for guidance and after weeks of researching, I learned about the necessary social media skills. I had to spend time designing small sets and finding natural lighting for photo shoots, and learn how to write reviews while using hashtags (主题标签) in posts to attract other users.
My first post was a photo of my favorite book, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, with my hand’s shadow cast on a page. I also took pictures of several of my favorite sentences from the book and included a few hashtags to increase interaction. Attracting people with similar interest was hard at first. But gradually, it became a piece of cake. The community quickly became a good place for me to talk about my favorite books with people having the same interest.

A.It is easily done. B.It faces new challenges.
C.It is mentally challenging. D.It needs topics related to kids.

At the office or in school, most people sit most of the day. For those hours of long - time sitting, there is now a healthy way to refresh body and mind. According to a study published in Sports & Exercise in January, we can enjoy health all round by walking for five minutes every half hour!
The research designed five exercise choices for participants who sat for eight hours. The participants were asked to take a minute’s walk after 30 minutes’ sitting, take a minute’s walk after 60 minutes’ sitting, take a five - minute walk every half hour, or take a five minute walk every hour. The last choice is no walking at all. The researchers then compared the participants’ health.
They found that five minutes of walking every half hour was good in blood pressure and blood sugar. Moreover, researchers become happier. “The effects on feeling and tiredness are important. People like to repeat behaviors that make them feel good and that are enjoyable,” the researcher Keith Diaz explained. As those feelings of getting up and moving around were positive, they could let to take more everyday walk.
But sitting all day at work has become accepted. To change this, Diaz is trying to explain to workers that moving during the day is good; a healthy worker is a more productive and satisfying boss.
When it comes to standing desks, he said, “I’m unsure whether there’s really strong scientific evidence that standing is really better than sitting. I worry people have this false sense that they’re healthy because they’re using this desk, and maybe they’ re not actually that much better.”
If you’re sitting and haven’t walked around for a while, get up! Treat yourself to an exercise “snack” and then take another one in a half hour. The benefits of a simple, easy five- minute walk are obvious!

When drones (无人机) can first be widely found around 15 years ago, it was common to find technology people painting pictures of how they were soon going to change the world. However, if you look up into the largely empty sky, you can see that hasn’t happened yet.
Sure, drones are useful for taking aerial (空中的) photos, but we’re a long way away from aerial superhighways, packed with drones carrying parcels at speeds that are near-impossible on the ground.
In 2016, Amazon announced it had completed its first ever aerial delivery(运送). In a video, we saw an Amazon “Prime Air” drone pick up a parcel and fly it across the countryside landing in the buyer’s garden, dropping the parcel, and then returning to its home base. But Amazon still hasn’t completed its second drone delivery. In fact, it has reportedly narrowed the drone program.
So, will drone delivery ever be a thing There are some signs of a possible drone delivery future not in Britain, but in Africa. Since 2016, rural(偏远的) hospitals in Rwanda have been receiving regular medical supplies by drone because of a company called Zipline. It surely has saved lives, because of the speed at which blood can be delivered in a country with a poorly developed road network. So could we ever expect such a system here
Unfortunately, there’s a big difference between rural Africa and thickly populated Britain. British homes don’t have large gardens where to land and nobody wants loud large drones often landing around the neighborhood. Another fact is that British cities may still have safety worries about having drones carrying things over our heads. That’s why I wonder if the real drone future could be walking along the ground. For a few years, “delivery robots” with wheels have been walking on the roads. So perhaps we’re not so far away from a drone delivery future, but whether it is coming true might be a little bit more down to earth.
22.What can we learn from the first two paragraphs
A.Drones are widely used in daily life.
B.Drones have made delivery faster.
C.Drones are designed to take aerial photos.
D.Drones haven’t changed the world as expected.
23.Why does the writer mention Zipline’s drone delivery
A.To explain the process of drone delivery.
B.To stress the benefits brought by drone delivery.
C.To discuss the possibility of a drone delivery future.
D.To show its advantages over Amazon’s drone delivery.
24.What is paragraph 5 mainly about
A.The safety about drones.
B.The ways that British people do to drone delivery.
C.The differences between African countries and Britain.
D.The reasons why drone delivery isn’t suitable for Britain.
25.What is the best title for the text
A.Drone Delivery Future: Pie in the Sky
B.A Bright Future for Drone Delivery
C.Change the World with Drones
D.Drone Usages at Risk Worldwide

参考范文:
Dear David,
I'm sorry to learn that you are at a loss for your freshman year. It is not unusual for students of your age, in fact, to have difficulty adapting to the new campus life. In contrast to junior high, study in senior high is more challenging, let alone the increase of subjects, which adds to our psychological anxiety. Here comes my advice.
It always comes first to plan the time at school wisely, because only by keeping a balance between study and rest and working out regularly can we get used to the intense high school life. Plus, getting ourselves involved in some club activities is also preferable, which will build up our confidence and help fit in well with the students around us.
I hope you will adapt to high school life soon. Best wishes! (136 words)
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua
