动词短语词义辨析
一些动词与介词或副词等连接在一起构成固定词组,这些词组叫作动词短语。多数动词短语在意义上相当于一个实义动词。初中阶段的动词短语的构成主要有以下几类:
1.动词+介词
这类动词短语后跟宾语时,无论宾语是名词(词组)还是代词,都需置于介词之后。例如:
agree with, begin with, look for
2.动词+副词
这类动词短语后跟名词(词组)作宾语时,宾语置于副词前后均可;后跟人称代词作宾语时,宾语置于副词之前。例如:

3.动词+副词+介词

Monty Roberts was the son of a horse trainer who would go from farm to farm and ranch (大牧场) to ranch to train horses. One day, when he was still in the high school, Roberts was asked to  1  a paper about what he wanted to be in the future.
That night, he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great details and even drew pictures of the ranch.

When looking at a pair of old chopsticks, most people would see nothing but waste. But Felix Bock would  1  boxes, tables, shelves and so on.
