read(读)→ reading
以不发音的字母 e 结尾的动词
先去掉 e,再加 -ing。例如:
write(写)→ writing
make(制作)→ making
take(拿)→ taking
但要注意,如果 e 是发音的,则不能去掉 e,如:be(是)→ being。

3.以重读闭音节结尾,且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词
先双写这个辅音字母,再加 -ing。所谓重读闭音节,是指一个音节中,以辅音字母结尾,而且是重读音节。例如:
run(跑)→ running
swim(游泳)→ swimming
sit(坐)→ sitting
4.以 -ie 结尾的动词 把 ie 变为 y,再加 -ing。例如:
lie(躺)→ lying
die(死)→ dying
