Step 1 Warming-up
1. Show some pictures to explain time expressions.
2. Listen and repeat the time.
3. Ask and answer. What time is it?

4. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer.
5. Practice. Ask and answer. What time is it?
Step 2 Practice
1. Show some pictures of the subjects.
2. Introduce the new words.
3. Look at their own school timetable and ask:
What lessons do you have today?
Lead them to answer with: We have…
4. Then talk about their favourite lesson.
Step 3 Listening
T: Now ,I know your favourite lesson. Do you know your friends Betty’s and Tony’s favourite lessons? Let’s listen and check:
(1). Tony’s favourite lesson is Chinese.
(2) .Betty’s favourite lesson is maths.
2. Play the recording and ask the students to listen .
3. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer.
