一、教材内容分析
本模块以天气为话题展开,关键是对天气相关知识的介绍,主题贴近学生真实生活,因此学生对本模块的话题比较感兴趣,开展教学活动比较容易。本课时要求孩子掌握有关天气的单词、询问天气的句型以及会读有关天气的温度,能听懂天气预报并能用英语进行简单的天气播报。
二、教学目标(知识,技能,情感态度)
Aims of knowledge:To learn the words about the weather;To learn how to read the temperature;To learn how to give the weather report in English.Aims of abilities:Students can grasp the words about the weather. Student can listen to understand the weather and the temperature. Students can talk about the weather and they can be an English weather reporter. Students can write down the weather report.Aims of emotion: Learn to care about the weather and learn to protect the environment.

四、学情分析
学生在七年级的学习中已经基本了解并掌握了关于天气的部分词汇和句型。本模块是在七年级的基础上再次引入the weather这个话题。教师应该在预设的教学任务中引导学生勇于表达、善于合作,使他们更好地运用课本知识,达到实际运用的目的。

Step1 Daily report 1. Ask the student on duty to give today’s report.2. Ask one student from the class to answer a question about the report.. 1. The student on duty gives today’s report.2. The rest of the students listen carefully and get ready to answer the question about the report. 鼓励学生大胆地站到讲台上进行口语表达,训练学生的注意力和听力。
Step2Lead-in Play a song about the weather.Ask: How is the weather in the song 1. The students enjoy the song.2. One of them answers the question. 歌曲可以提高学生学习的兴趣,并帮助导入本节课的话题。
Step3Task1: the words about the weather 1. Show some pictures on the screen and ask the students: How is the weather /What’s the weather like 2. Then ask the students to tell the weather according to the weather signs.3. Help the students revise the words about the weather in different seasons. 1. Students answer the questions according to the pictures.2.Students tell the weather3. Then ask and answer in pairs with the pictures: How is the weather / What’s the weather like It is……4. Revise the words about the weather in different seasons and put the words in order. 通过ppt上图片的学习,孩子们更好地掌握有关天气的单词和理解有关天气的图标
Step4Task2:How to read the temperature 1. Show some temperature on the screen and teach the students how to read it.2. Then ask the students to work in pairs to ask and answer about the weather and the temperature. 1. Students learn how to read the temperature.2. Then practice.3.Some individual students stand up to read the temperature.4. Work in pairs to ask and answer about the weather and the temperature in three cities. 5. Act out. 通过本部分的学习,学生们将会知道如何读温度,为下面的任务做准备。
Step5Task3:Listening Play the listening part for the students 1. Students listen to check the answers in the table. 2. Listen again and correct the wrong information. 训练学生听天气预报的能力,并能抓住特定细节。
Step6Task4:Try to be a weather reporter 1.Play a short video of a Chinese weather report.2.Then ask the students to learn to be an English weather reporter 1. Students watch the Chinese weather report and learn to be a reporter.2. Prepare the weather report according to the table. 3. Then three of them give the weather report.4. The students choose five cities they want to go on the screen and give the weather report.5. The students work in groups of four to prepare the weather report according to the weather report they prepared yesterday evening..6. One from each group comes to the front to be an English weather reporter. 这部分的任务让每个孩子都动起来,积极地投入到贴合他们实际的任务中。他们在更好地展现自己或小组合作任务同时,不但掌握了本节课的重点和难点,也训练了他们的口语能力。
Step7Summary The teacher ask: What did we learn in this lesson The students summarize. 帮助学生回忆、进一步巩固本节课的所学习的重难点
Step8Homework The teacher shows the homework on the screen:Listen to tomorrow’s weather report. (At least five cities: weather and the temperature) Then write the weather report in English. The students get ready for the homework. 通过这样的作业设计,争取让每一个孩子都学有所获,书写能力得到提高,从而达到激励全体学生努力学习的目的

九、教学反思本节课由于内容不是很难而且贴近学生日常生活,教师能够饱满地完成既定的教学任务,学生也能够积极地进行配合和输出,总体说来算是一节比较成功的课。本节课以一首“How is the weather?”歌曲导入,容易引起学生兴趣,而且歌曲内容与本节课的主题契合,导入自然。最后的summary能够帮助学生回忆本节课重点,homework的写作任务有助于学生对本节课学习内容进行输出巩固。有关天气的单词呈现生动,但当教到hazy这个单词的时候,教师如果及时地进行保护环境的教育就更好了。本节课学生操练时间足够,准备weather report的时间充足,如果能够更为仔细的分组,如将四人一组分为六人一组,小组展示的时间就会更充分,也不会拖沓时间。发现自己的语言有点啰嗦。在以后的教学中一定要注意:指令清晰到位!相信这一点只要注意就可以改正!第一次参加这种活动,感觉还是蛮紧张的,导致有时候语速有点快,声音僵硬不够柔和,平时还是要多模仿语音语调。感悟:参加任何一项比赛,只要是认真参与、认真准备,虽然过程是磨人的,但总是会有很多收获的!
