If you don’t know how to keep healthy, please read the newest edition (版本) of the book Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents (《中国居民膳食指南》). It will tell you what to eat and how to eat healthily.
The guidelines came out in April. There are eight principles (准则). Here are some of the principles.
Principle No. 1, eat different kinds of food. One should eat at least 12 kinds of food every day and over 25 kinds a week.
Principle No. 2, have enough fruit, vegetables, and milk. One should have about 300g fresh vegetables, 200g—350g fresh fruit, and 300g milk every day.
