一、教材内容分析
本课教学内容是外研版新标准英语教材八年级下册第四模块第二单元,本模块以健康为话题,以看病为主题,涉及病情描述和治疗建议。本单元的教学内容除语言学习之外,还应该包括健康生活的内容。通过本模块的学习,学生可以反思自己的生活是否健康,自己父母的生活是否健康,并给身边的人提出健康生活建议。教材在第一单元通过真实的就医语境已经展示了现在完成时,以及表达行为持续时间的用法。在本单元教学中,教师可以将重点放在内容上,而不是过多强调语法上。可以通过对个人生活经历的描述来复习旧知识以及针对疾病给出建议来引出新知识,为接下来的阅读训练做好准备。本单的阅读部分,是围绕着4个人的不同锻炼方式展开话题,因此学生会接触很多相关的词汇。同时在阅读中进一步领悟健康生活的重要性,理解和运用现在完成时并帮助学生思考如何养成健康生活的习惯,为掌握此类话题,写出完整的语篇作准备。
二、学习者特征分析
八年级学生在英语学习方面已经积累了许多词汇和表达方式,经过一年半的学习和练习,能够掌握基本的阅读方法,并可以站在一定高度上处理阅读问题,他们所需要的是教师的引导,因此可以采用合作学习,组间讨论的方法,让学生主动学习并处理阅读中出现的问题,教师在适当的时候给予指引和点播。但是大部分同学的语音,语调都有待加强,因此在回答问题时要给予鼓励和更正。

首先热身激趣,其次通过教师谈论与自己生活息息相关的经历来引出话题,复习旧知,情境对话,图文链接,阅读文章,质疑解答,自测自省,情感升华,知识输出。
