We have Sports Day every year, and this year it was on the third Friday of October. The whole school was full of fun and excitement
with flags and colourful flowers here and there. Many boys and girls took part in the event. They ran, jumped, and played football and basketball.
I joined in a 100m race and won a silver cup. It was not a bad
performance. The 4×100m relay was very exciting. Everyone cheered for the racers, and the sports field was full of laughter. My best friend Mike is very good at long-distance
running. He came in first and finally
won the race. In the long jump, my
other friend, Rita, did not get a prize,
but she tried her best. On the sports
day, everyone felt excited.
The sports day ended with a song. We
and Ms Lin, our teacher, sang together
for the good performance of the boys and
girls in our class. What an unforgettable
day!
