学情分析
初中阶段的英语学习中,阅读占着重要的地位,特别是中考中占据着较高的分值,所以英语阅读能力的培养是英语教学中重要的环节,提高学生英语阅读能力也是英语课堂教学目标之一。由于本班学生两极分化有点严重,所以要分层次设计阅读任务,针对不同层次的学生设计不同的阅读任务,以免后进生产生畏难情绪丧失学习英语的兴趣与信心。
效果分析
《英语课程标准》和中考《考纲》中明确把以“旅游”为话题的口语交际作为考查内容。本单元就是以Vacations 为核心话题,以生动、活泼的对话展开讨论,通过让学生收集、了解一些世界各地的名胜古迹及美丽风景,引导学生谈论自己喜欢的旅行景点,让学生学会介绍旅游景点,因此学好本节课十分重要。 在学过本单元新词汇后,进行课文理解和内容句型操练及知识拓展;让学生应用所学词汇和句型叙述描写景色地点,了解国内外著名风光,名胜古迹,开拓眼界,愉悦身心。
课前准备:前一天布置的家庭作业,分组分工分别查找一些国家的主要旅游资源。
开始上课老师引出话题:Everybody likes traveling. Last year I went to England. 说到这,我拿出一些小纪念品给大家看,学生的好奇心上来。“Where would you like to go? Today we’ll travel around the world in the pictures. 接着屏幕展示(复习)了一些国家的国旗、国名、首都名。当我讲到法国巴黎时,特意展出了美丽的巴黎市名胜(连接到网上),同时放了课本课文录音(Travel spotlight: Paris),介绍巴黎风光(课文内容并不难,所以我把这一部分作为听力训练处理)。
我要求学生模仿这篇“巴黎介绍”,开始了下一环节:各组派代表上来介绍所选择的国家(课件上连接)。同学们用他们昨天晚上查找的资料开始一一介绍(我惊叹!同学们查的资料、做的课件比我的还好)。图文并茂,加上他们自己的英语介绍,深深吸引了全班同学,共有16个小组,我控制了时间,让没有来得及上台展示的小组,把材料挂在他们班的网页上。
?继续进行下一步骤,Pair work:就我们比较熟悉的国内名胜景点进行对话。老师展出课件,其中画面包含了细节网址,学生有兴趣的的话,还可以点击了解更详细的内容。如,内蒙古的蒙古包,九寨沟风光、扑朔迷离的桂林山水等等。对话可长可短,可难可易,但必须用上老师指定的一些句型和词组(紧扣今天的学习任务)。学生两两对话,发挥很好。
本节课我帮助学生运用体验式学习方式,关注学生的个体差异,精心设计了多种形式的操练活动。满足不同学生的学习需要,因材施教,使学生在学习过程中形成积极的情感体验,。在活动中引导学生发挥自身擅长的学习方式,多种感官参与学习,促进学生综合语言应用的能力的提高。活动的设计趣味性强且由易到难,由机械操练到意义操练,有层次,有梯度,环环相扣。
运用了情景教学法和任务型教学法,更大程度上让学生发挥了自己的主体作用,使学生在快乐中学习。
设置了不同的活动来增强了课堂气氛,提高了学生的积极性,让学生变被动为主动参与,丰富了他们的生活情感,感受到学习的乐趣。
进行活动过程中不能有效地完全去监督每个小组,可能会存在偷懒的状况,所以要控制好整个现场局面。

教学步骤:
Step1: Warming up
Enjoy some photos of traveling.
T: Do you like traveling? I love traveling so much, and I have been to some places. Do you want to know where I have been to?
(设计意图:运用教师自身的旅游经验会更易点燃学生的激情,也让他们对旅游产生一种渴望:想要了解或者参观看多的旅游胜地。)
Step2:Lead-in
Guessing game: What country is it?
T: Do you know the country?
S: Yes, it’s Thailand.
T: You are right. Next let’s play a guessing game “What country is it?” If you know the country, stand up and say it out loudly.
(设计意图:上个步骤最后一张照片是Thailand,引出其他国家,从而引出这个游戏。此处以看谁反应快的游戏方式让学生先对一些国家有所了解,通过图片能猜得出是哪个国家,再引出新课要介绍的国家—法国巴黎。游戏结束后,教师可以问: Where would you like to go ? 一些学生会回答:I’d like to go to France. 老师可以接着问:If you go to France, which city would you like to visit? 从而引出巴黎这一个城市。)

设计意图:根据3a的阅读特点,播放录像介绍旅游景点,设置情境进行对新课的景点介绍。录像中的景点是巴黎最值得一游的十大景点,3a中就提到了两个景点.此外,在学生进行阅读前先通过听力让学生对课文有大概的了解,并且通过听力解决一些问题。如果学生能在读前通过听力回答这些问题,那么后面的阅读就更容易进行。)

教材的分析
(一)教材的地位和作用
本单元的中心话题是Vacations,整个单元的内容是围绕Vacations以生动、活泼的对话,以及个人的自我介绍展开的。而且这些旅游胜地都与我们的生活密切相关,旅游话题也是中考重要的一个考点。通过本单元的学习,要求学生能够谈论自己想去的地方,并学会介绍旅游景点,同时了解世界各地的一些名胜古迹,从而能自觉地保护地球,保护环境。因此,国家和旅游景点的介绍,不仅在本单元占据主导地位,也是训练学生听说读写能力的良好素材。根据新课标对学生交际能力的培养,尤其对学生阅读能力、写作的要求不断提高,以及我班学生的实际情况,我将本课设计为一堂阅读、写作课。
(二)教学目标的确立和依据
为了完成正常的教学任务,还要有效地培养学生的创新精神和实践能力,我确立如下的教学目标:
1.知识目标:
A: 能运用句型:For your next vacation, why not consider visiting Paris? there are still many things to do there. It is convenient to …. .and so on.
B:掌握词汇及短语:sight 、including、 tower 、 convenient、 underground 、translate、 consider doing 、 for example、 in genera
2.能力目标:
A. 能运用语言和语法知识进行阅读并理解文章意思。
B. 能比较流利地描述一个自己想去的地方。
3.情感目标:
A:通过对本堂课的学习,增强实际交际能力,开阔眼界,加深对世界各地的了解,自觉地保护地球,保护环境。
B: 通过本单元的学习使学生向往旅游,想要到各地的名胜古迹看看,并立志学好英语,周游世界。
(三)重点和难点:
1.重点:对于农村学校的学生,虽说已有几年的英语学习,但是部分学生对于阅读材料还是无从下手的,所以把本堂阅读课的重点是要教会学生如何使用阅读策略进行重点阅读,获取主要信息解决问题,并学会用所学语言材料进行写作。
2.难点:如何培养和提高学生的阅读能力和写作能力。现学现用,所以我打算阅读之后接着给学生布置任务型的写作材料进行写作。
