Martin Luther King Jr. was a very important person in American history.
He believed that everyone should be treated equally(平等地), no matter the color of their skin. He wanted a world where people could live together peacefully and be friends, no matter where they came from. Martin Luther King worked hard to make his dreams come true, and his words and actions inspired(鼓舞) many people around the world to stand up for fairness and equality.

The September 11 attacks were a tragic event in American history. This is a series of terrorist attacks that took place at the World Trade Center in New York, USA, with a total of 2996 deaths.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, two planes hijacked(被劫持的) by terrorists crashed into World Trade Center Building 1 and Building 2 in New York,. Another hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon of the US Department of Defense(美国国防部).
