专题16 There be 句型
一、定义
There be句型，表示某地或某时存在有某人或某物或某事，称之为“存在句”。
【注意】没有 there have的表达
二、结构
句子结构 例句
肯定句 There be＋名词 There is some juice in the bottle. 有一些果汁在瓶子里。
否定句 There be not＋名词There be no＋名词 There is not any students in the classroom. 课室里没有学生。
一般疑问句 Be there＋名词？ Are there any people in the room 房间里有人么？
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问词＋be there＋名词？ Why are there many birds 为什么有这么多鸟？
【注意】be动词的单复数由be后的第一个名词决定。
There is a pen and two books on the desk.桌子上有一支笔和两本书。
（be后的第一个名词是a pen，所以be动词用单数is）
There are two books and a pen on the desk.桌子上有两本书和一支笔。
（be后的第一个名词是two books，所以be动词用复数are）
三、There be 句型的时态
时态 There be 句型 例句
一般现在时 There is/are... There is a bear in the forest now.现在有一只熊在森林里。
一般过去时 There was/were.. There were many bears there before.之前那里有很多熊。
一般将来时 There will be There is/are going to be... There will be many bears there later.之后那里会有很多熊。 There are going to be many bears later.
现在完成时 There have/has been... There have been many bears.那里已经有很多熊了。
四、用法注意
1．there be 可以与情态动词连用
There must be... 一定有.... There must be a bear over there.一定有一只熊在那里。
There may be... 可能有... There may be a bear over there.可能有一只熊在那里。
There can't be...不可能有... There can't be a bear over there.不可能有一只熊在那里。
There used to be...曾经有... There used to be a bear over there.曾经有一只熊在那里。
2．常考固定句型
（1）There is no doubt／possibility／chance．．．that＋句子
毫无疑问的是...／毫无可能性的是...／不可能的是...
There is no doubt that you will succeed one day.毫无疑问的是，终有一天你会成功。
There is no possibility that I can pick you up at the airport.我不可能去机场接你。
There is no chance that he can get over shyness.他不可能克服害羞心理。
（2）There is no need for sb．to do sth．对某人来说，做某事没必要。
There is no need for Tom to leave Guangzhou.对Tom来说，离开广州没必要。
（3）There is no point／sense（in）doing sth．做某事没有意义。
There is no sense／point （in） worrying about the past.为过去的事情担忧是没有意义的。
（4）There is likely to be．．．可能有．．．
There is likely to be a heavy storm.可能有一场大风暴。
