1) hope表示 “希望,期望”此处用作动词。

【注意】不能用于hope sb. to do sth.
2) arrive in/at +地点名词,意为“ 到达”, 较小的地方用at, 较大的
地方用in。
e.g. When did you arrive in Wuhan
【辨析】arrive in/at, get, reach
arrive in +大地方 ,arrive at +小地方
get to +地方
reach +地点名词或副词
到达某地
【注意】当它们接地点副词home,there,here时,
不用任何介词。

wear 穿, 戴; glasses 眼镜,常以复数形式出现,做主语时谓语动词要用复数形式。
wears glasses 戴眼镜
a pair of glasses 一副眼镜,做主语时谓语动词要用单数形式。
【辨析】wear, put on, in与dress
wear 表示状态,宾语可以是衣帽、饰物、奖章等。
put on 强调动作,后接衣服、鞋帽等。
in 后接表示衣服或颜色的词,表示状态。
dress 强调动作,宾语常是人,dress oneself/ get oneself dressed。

sb. spend time/money on sth. 花时间或者金钱在某物上
sb. spend time/money (in) doing sth. 花时间或者金钱做某事
【拓展】表示花费的其他表达:
