系动词的含义及用法
英语动词中,有的动词后面要接名词或代词等作宾语,有的单独作谓语,而有的则要接形容词或名词作主语的补充成分。我们把后面接主语补充成分的动词称为系动词。
最常用的系动词就是be;除be以外,很多感官动词,如feel, taste, smell, look, sound也可以当系动词使用。
五感:look /sound /smell /taste /feel
三变:become /turn /get
二保持:keep /stay
一特殊:be

主语 + 连系动词 + 形容词 / 名词(表语)
(常由形容词/名词来充当表语)
S+ V+ P(主+系+表)
肯定式: 主语 + (感官)系动词 +表语.
否定式: 主语 + 助动词not +(感官)系动词 +表语.
疑问形式: 助动词+主语 + (感官)系动词 +表语
连系动词+形容词(表语)的句式变化 肯定句 主语为第三人称单数 The tiger is dangerous.
The rabbit looks lovely.
其他人称 Tigers are dangerous.
Rabbits look lovely.
否定句 主语为第三人称单数 The tiger isn’t dangerous.
The rabbit doesn't look lovely.
其他人称 Tigers aren’t dangerous.

疑问句 主语为第三人称单数 Is the tiger dangerous

hug each other when they meet. People
are friendly and informal. They usually
use given names, even at work. It is polite for people to say “thank you” very often, even to their family members.
