time, you’d better know about western table manner.

2. It’s polite to follow them.
按照西餐礼仪做是有礼貌的。
It is+adj. + to do sth. 句型中 it 是形式主语,真正的主语
是动词不定式。通常若主语太长,为避免头重脚轻,
可用 it 作形式主语,将动词不定式后置。
e.g. It is necessary to study English hard.

3. When you drink to someone, you’d better raise your cup
or glass and take only a little.
当你与某人干杯时,你最好举起茶杯或杯子喝一小口。
1 )drink to sb./sth. 为某人/ 某事干杯
e.g. Let’s drink to our success. 让我们为成功干杯吧。
2 )raise one’s cup or glass 举起茶杯或是杯子;

4. Remember not to drink too much. 记住,别喝得太多。
1 )A. drink too much 意为“喝得太多”,这里 drink 作
动词。
e.g. He drank his cup of tea. 他喝他的那杯茶。
B. 作名词时可译为“ 饮料” 。
e.g. Have a drink whenever you're thirsty.

2)too much 用来修饰不可数名词;too many 是修饰可
数名词;much too 是修饰形容词或副词。
e.g. too much water 太多的水; too many pens 太多的笔;
much too tired 实在太累了;
3 )remember to do sth. 记住去做某事(未做);
e.g. I will remember to tell her about the story.
