教学内容分析 本课时围绕学习本身,讲述了学习的障碍及对应的解决方法,对学生要重要意义。本部分在Section A谈论英语学习的基础上,从英语学习的困难及解决方案,拓展到优秀学习者的学习习惯。引导学生关注优秀学生的学习方式,不断改进自己的学习方法,提高学习效率。
学情分析 以学习方法为话题,让学生了解到各类有效的学习方法和学习习惯,从而反思自身的学习方法,找到适合自己的学习方法,养成良好的学习习惯
学习目标 (1)能在语境中理解、识记并运用本课时单词及短语:pronounce, increase, speed, partner, born, ability, be born with, pay attention to... (2)能用本课时句型描述自身英语学习过程中遇到的问题,并能使用多样的句型给出学习方案: I don’t know how to increase my reading speed. Even if you learn something well, you will forget it unless you use it. (3)能运用一定听力技巧听懂并完成听力材料中关于学习中问题及建议的相关习题; (4)能够运用思维导图理清文章如何变成一名成功的学习者的主旨架构,运用阅读策略,或借助使用词典等工具书理解文章中出现的具体的学习方法的论点和例子, 在学习讨论中寻找适合自身的学习方法和习惯。
重难点 (1)通过让学生思考还有哪些好的学习习惯,以清单的形式列举下来。 (2)通过快速阅读让学生找出文章中的四个学习方法,并与自己的学习方法确认是否有相同之处,引导学生思考并寻找适合自身的学习方法。 (3)列举出自身所有的学习问题并给出自己建议或解决方法。
