学情分析
本模块是高二学生上学期学习内容,这个时期的高二学生具备了一定的词汇基础、阅读能力和分析能力,但是在运用策略解决实际问题的能力方面还有待于提高,这个能力也正是即将学习的选修六所要求学生达到的能力,因此要逐步提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,注重用英语进行思维和表达的能力。获取信息,即输入,输入的途径有阅读和听。在高中阶段,完全依靠听来获取信息是有难度的,阅读教学十分重要。实际上,应当把读放在一个突出的位置,包括朗读、阅读、跟读等,如果没有从阅读教学中获得的词汇,是很难听懂的,更谈不上用英语进行思维和表达。另外,学生在学习课文时,对文章所涉及的现象和文化内涵理解的深度不够,因此要注意引导。

学法:课前预习法,小组探究法以及阅读技巧(精读,查读的运用)。

上课开始时抛出问题:Do you like aninials
If you have a chance to become an animal, what would you like to be Why
What worries you most after becoming it 两个问题自然地将学生拉入到动物的身份,表达喜欢这种动物的理由和成为这种动物带来的担忧。教师也自然的将自己融入到学生们中去,表达“想成为藏羚羊”的理由和担忧,拉近师生关系,也自然导入课文。通过让学生对文章图片和题目的观察,引导学生猜测文章内容,激发学生的想象力和思维,引发了他们阅读本文的兴趣,为学习本节课话题奠定了基础。
活动3.对比动物的可爱和人类对它们的伤害得出结论-(我们希望和动物和谐相处)。

Pollution
With the economic development, pollution has a bad influence on animals’ life. The air is polluted by the smoke and fog coming out of the factory chimneys. Plants die for want of fresh air. The river is polluted and the fish are unfit to live in. In addition, birds suffer a lot from it.
Destruction of habitats
We are losing much-loved species and a main cause seems to be loss of habitat due to wetland being drained and forests being destroyed for farming or development. We need to protect and restore these habitats in order for species like these to survive.
