Places to put a spring in your step

Spring is just around the corner. Many people are looking for places to travel to. Online travel adviser, Travel Ticker, has named its top 10 spring destinations - and China has come first. “This is one of the best times of the year to visit China,” the website claims.
But you don’t have to stay at home. Let’s take a look at some popular and exotic (有异国情调的) tourist destinations also named.
Italy
Italy’s weather is at its best during April and May - not too hot and not too cold. It’s just before the peak summer season, so the crowds (which some cities like Venice are infamous (声名狼藉的) for) are much smaller. Getting a true local experience can be as easy as sipping (小口喝) a cappuccino in a café or doing a bit of window-shopping.
France
France has something for every kind of traveler, from history to delicious food to breathtaking scenery. Paris at this time of year promises pleasant walks along the River Seine and views of the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower, and there should be plenty of sun too.
But there’s no need to stick to the cities. The picturesque (风景如画的) Loire Valley and the fashionable south of France are just a train ride away and are beautiful during April and May.
Ecuador (厄瓜多尔)
Ecuador is a more exotic(异国情调的) trip. Travelers can visit the Galapagos Islands, relax on clean beaches, explore the wonders of the Amazon Rainforest or take in views of the majestic (壮丽的) Andes mountain range.
