Dear Sue,
I have so many things to do every day. Besides my schoolwork every weekday, I go to a chess club twice a week. I often have to help my younger cousin. She just started primary school and has some difficulties in maths.
On top of all that, I have classes in dance, piano, art...I like doing lots of different things, but I’m so busy! Yesterday, I fell asleep during class. I was so embarrassed!

Sorry to hear about your trouble. You are such a busy kid!
I think you should take some time to think carefully about your plan. You can list all the things you need to do each week in a notebook. Can you do all of these things and get enough rest to stay healthy If not, decide what things must be done and what can be dropped from your list.
Here are some other tips that may help you：
Plan your study time for each subject and do a review every weekend.
Organize your notes right after classes.
Take a few minutes every evening to check how your plan is going.
Making a good plan is half the work itself.

Thanks to Sue, I made a plan. Now I feel much better. Here is my timetable.
On school days, every morning is filled with class time. I will study English by myself on Monday afternoon, science on Tuesday afternoon, and maths on Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, I will play with my friends. Most evenings, I will help my cousin or go to Chess Club. But on Wednesday evening, I will review some of my school work.

3. Yesterday, I fell asleep during class. 昨天我在课堂上睡着了。
asleep为形容词，意为“睡着的”。在句中常作表语。 常构成的短语为：fall asleep 入睡。

辨析 sleep，sleepy 与 asleep
sleep 动词，“睡觉”，强调动作。go to sleep
“入睡”，和fall asleep同义。
sleepy 形容词，be sleepy“困乏的”，表状态。
asleep 形容词，be asleep“睡着的”，表状态，fall asleep“入睡”，表动作。

辨析such与so
用法 结构
such such修饰名词或名词词组，既可接可数名词，也可以接不可数名词。 such＋a/an＋adj.＋n.(可数名词单数)，such＋adj.＋n.(可数名词复数/不可数名词)
so so修饰形容词与副词。 so＋adj.＋a/an＋n.(可数名词单数)，so＋adj./adv.
若名词前有many，much，little，few等表示数量多少的词修饰时，前面用so，不用such，若little不表示数量，而表示“小的”时，其前则需用 such。
※ He has so many books.
他有如此多的书。
※ I don′t believe such little animals can eat so many insects.
我不相信如此小的动物能吃如此多的昆虫。
5. If not, decide what things must be done and what can be dropped from your list. 如果不行的话，决定哪些事情必须做，哪些可以从你的清单上删掉。
drop 作动词讲时，意为“放弃；落下；下降；使掉下”。drop的现在分词为：dropping；过去式和过去分词均为：dropped。
(1)作不及物动词
①掉下，落下
※The apple dropped from the tree to the ground.
苹果从树上掉到地上。
②减少，下降，下跌，减弱
※The wind has dropped.
风势已减弱了。
(2)作及物动词
①使掉下，使落下
※Mary dropped the vase on the floor.
玛丽失手把花瓶掉在地板上。
②放弃
※You must drop smoking. 你必须戒烟。
③中途卸客
※Drop me at the corner. 让我在拐角处下车。
注意： drop in(顺便拜访)是不及物动词短语，其后不能接宾语。
6. Take a few minutes every evening to check how your plan is going. 每天晚上花几分钟时间检查一下你的计划进展如何。
check作动词讲时，意为“检查，检验，核实”。check可作及物动词，也可作不及物动词。其过去式和过去分词均为checked。
