Presentation
THINK ABOUT IT
What should you do to get along with the people around you
How should you communicate with people who are doing things you don′t like or understand
To work towards a peaceful life, you should always try to develop good relationships with the people around you. Be kind and help those in need. Do this not only for family and friends, but also for the people who live in your neighbourhood.
People in your community might have different ways of living and thinking. This doesn't mean that they're wrong and you're right. If everyone had the same ideas, the world would be a boring place.
Today, in many cities, people usually lock their doors after work and don′t see their neighbours much. Social interactions are often limited to a “Hi!”on the street. However, there may be times when someone does something that upsets you. If this happens, discuss the matter in a friendly way. This allows you to
express your ideas without damaging your relationship. Avoid arguments, especially ones that judge the nature of the person rather than the actions. For example, your neighbours are playing loud music while you try to fall asleep . Should you politely suggest they lower the volume Or should you angrily shout at them The first option is clearly better. By calmly examining any problems, you create a relationship of mutual respect and understanding. After all, good neighbours are better than distant relatives.
