语法1:动词的第三人称单数形式的变化规则
1. 大多数动词在词尾加“s”。
2. 以辅音字母加“y”结尾的,要先将“y”变为“i”,然后再加“es”。
3. 以元音字母加“y”结尾的动词,直接在词尾加“s”。
4. 以“s, x, ch, sh,o”结尾的,在词尾加“es”。
5. 特殊变化:have — has。

语法2:职业类名词的变化规则
英语中,有些动词与名词之间有一定的联系,如上述句中 teacher 是由 teach 在词尾加上后缀-er; writer 是由 write 在词尾加上后缀-r,就变成了表示执行这一动作的人。具体变化规则如下:
1.一般情况下在动词词尾加-er,
如: work(工作)→worker(工人), paint(绘画)→painter(画家)。
2.以不发音字母e结尾的动词,在词尾加-r,
如: manage(管理)→manager(经理), drive(驾驶)→driver(司机)。
3.以重读闭音节结尾,且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,双写末尾字母再加-er,
如:run(跑步)→runner(跑步者), swim(游泳)→ swimmer(游泳者)。
4. 在动词词尾加-or,
如: invent(发明)→ inventor(发明家), visit(参观)→visitor(参观者)。

语法3:询问他人职业的句型
询问某人的职业的常用句型为“ What do/ does+主语+ do ”,意为“某人是做什么的”。
当主语是第三人称单数时,助动词用 does;
当主语不是第三人称单数时,助动词用 do。
其答语为“主语+ be 动词(+a/ an)+职业名词.”。

语法4:一般现在时
考点1:一般现在时的用法
1.句子的谓语动词为be动词(am,is,are)。
2.句中的谓语动词为实义动词。
·谓语动词为实义动词的肯定句:
主语为第三人称单数,基本结构:主语 + 动词的第三人称单数形式 + 其他.
主语为第一人称、第二人称或第三人称复数时,基本结构:主语 + 动词原形 + 其他.
易错点提醒:在一般现在时中,当主语为第三人称单数时,动词也要用第三人称单数形式;当主语不是第三人称单数时,动词要用原形。
典例:I am a student. 我是一名学生。
We often play games after school. 我们经常放学后玩游戏。
My aunt works in a shoe factory. 我的阿姨在一个鞋厂工作。
考点2:一般现在时的一般疑问句
一般现在时的一般疑问句有三种情况:
1.由be动词引导的一般疑问句:
问句句型:be动词 + 主语 + 其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + be动词. 否定回答:No, 主语 + be动词 + not.
典例: —Is she an English teacher too 她也是一位英语教师吗?
—No, she isn’t. 不,她不是。
2.由情态动词引导的一般疑问句:
问句句型:情态动词 + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + 情态动词. 否定回答:No, 主语 + 情态动词 + not.
典例: —Can your brother play the piano 你的弟弟会弹钢琴吗?
—No, he can’t. 不,他不会。
