through为介词,意为“穿过;通过”,常与pass,go,walk,run等动词连用。表示“穿越”,指从空间内穿过;across表示“横越穿过”,指从表面走过或从一边到另一边。
keep…from 意为“阻止,使不能(做)某事”同义词组:stop…from,prevent…from
times 光,月,代; 除times外,有人会使用days 表达类似的含义。In those days,people used to write a lot more letters.
from 意为“因”, They really do get pleasure from spending money on other people. (他因把钱花在别人身上而从中得到快乐。)
1)regret doing sth. 后悔做某事(为已经做过的事感到遗憾)
2)regret to do sth. 很遗憾做某事(事情还没有做)
3)形容词形式为regretful,意思是后悔的。
