教学内容分析本课时内容人教社新目标初中英语教材8下Unit 7 ,该单元话题是“learn superlative”, 功能是Be able to talk about geography and nature.本节课型定位为以话题为核心的“听说课型”，主要学习表达事物的长宽高等及表达世界之最，应掌握句型:What's the highest mountain in the world China is almost as big as the US, and it is the biggest country in Asia.
学情分析经过近一年的任务型语言教学的训练，部分学生已经初步养成较好的英语学习习惯，能够在课堂上听懂老师的英文指令，并且能够根据老师的要求用目标语言完成各项任务。多人小组或二人小组成员有良好的合作意识，能够迅速有效的开展各项活动。其中，对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练显得尤为重要。

教学反思与改进The topic of this unit is "facts about the world”, After learning, the students can talk about geography and nature. As for grammar, the students should learn to understand and use comparatives and superlatives with adjectives and adverbs.In the first period, there are many numbers in this lesson, and they are large. correctly and pay attention to the reading method of the numbers when listening. Listen and read more to be sensitive to numbers.Through talking about the mountains, the lakes, the rivers and the deserts, the students master the grammar in this unit.Students are required to read the numbers.
