华彦钧（1893年8月17日—1950年12月4日），艺名阿炳，出生于江苏省无锡市，民间音乐家，正一派道士。 1893年8月17日，华彦钧出生在无锡雷尊殿旁“一和山房”，一岁丧母 。1901年，8岁时从无锡乡下回到父亲身边，从小耳濡目染喜欢上拉琴操鼓。1912年，正式参加道教音乐演奏，因长相俊俏，琴术高超，被无锡人称作“小天师” 。20世纪20年代，因人引诱，吃上了鸦片。华彦钧数年间双目先后失明，无法再做道士。为了谋生，他以“瞎子阿炳”的名号开始了卖艺生涯 。1933年，创作并开始演奏二胡独奏曲《二泉映月》 。1938年，日军侵占无锡后，阿炳赴上海避难，在昆曲班仙霓社担任琴师，弹奏三弦。1939年重返锡城，再操旧业。1947年，原住房被收回，临时租住在盛岸里，曾到惠山卖艺 。1948年，被送入“戒毒所”，释放后彻底停止卖艺 。1950年暑期，中央音乐学院民族音乐研究所所长杨荫浏教授赴无锡，用进口携带式钢丝录音机为阿炳录制了3首二胡曲与3首琵琶曲 。同年12月4日，阿炳病逝，终年57岁 。 华彦钧虽然只给后人留下了6道器乐曲，但这些作品继承和发展了中国传统音乐的优良传统。在中国近代音乐史的民族器乐创作中有着重要的价值与地位。

Last night one of my Chinese friends took me to a concert of Chinese folk music. The piece which was played on the erhu especially moved me.The music was strangely beautiful, but under the beauty I sensed a strong sadness and pain.The piece had a simple name, Erquan Yingyue (Moon Reflected on Second Spring), but it was one of the most moving pieces of music that I've ever heard. The erhu sounded so sad that I almost cried along with it as I listened. Later I looked up the history of Erquan Yingyue, and I began to understand the sadness in the music.

Abing’s father taught him to play many musical instruments, such as the drums, dizi and erhu, and by age 17, Abing was known for his musical ability. It is a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear, but his popularity continues to this day.
