Present the new words: family, father, mother, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother, parent, grandparent, doctor, teacher, cook, plant, flower, everything, need, beside Use pictures and gestures to explain the meanings of the words. Have the students repeat the words after the teacher. Play a word game to help the students remember the words. For example, show the pictures of the words quickly and ask the students to say the words as fast as possible. 2. Step 3: Listening Practice (10 minutes) 1. Play the audio of the conversation between Li Ming and Wang Mei for the first time.
