一、教学内容分析
本节课是听说课,1a,1c部分用定语从句谈论喜欢的音乐,1b 部分展示了定语从句在日常口语中的使用。2a,2b部分为两个好朋友谈论各自喜欢的音乐,音乐家,是前面1a到1c活动的一个内容上的拓展。最后2c部分结合2a和2b的听力材料进行定语从句的语言输出部分,根据听力内容进行口语对话,深化学生对听力材料的理解。
二、学情分析
七八年级已学过描述喜欢的音乐,音乐家的一些句子及句型,学生对这个话题早已不感到陌生,为本课时的听说活动提供了基础。由学生熟悉的音乐及音乐家进入定语从句的学习,这是本节课的重点,也是难点。虽然话题很熟悉,但对于基础薄弱的学生来说,在短时间内掌握定语从句是有一定难度的。
三、整体设计思路
1、听前处理:通过谈论喜欢的食物,服饰,音乐家等学生熟悉的家常话题,初步感知本节课的重点知识点,即定语从句。通过音频呈现教师喜欢的四种音乐类型,引出本课重点词汇,短语及句子。通过学生讨论有关喜欢的音乐及音乐家,激活学生已有的背景知识,让学生预测听力材料内容,降低难度,为听中活动做好准备。
2、听中处理:设计两个不同的、有梯度的听力活动任务,引导学生从听的活动中感知定语从句的使用,并学习如何获取关键信息,为下一步听后即将进行的语言输出提供输入材料。
3、听后处理:根据目标语言及结合学生的个体差异,设计三个有梯度性的任务活动(看听力材料跟读、就听力内容小组编对话、以小组竞赛形式进行信息差活动展示(异组交流调查至少三名同学的兴趣爱好),让学生在真实的语境中使用语言。
四、教学目标
1.知识目标:能听会说本课重点词汇及短语:prefer; lyrics; Australian; electronic; dance to; sing along with等,并能熟练使用定语从句谈论自己的喜好:
—I prefer music that has great lyrics.
—She likes musicians who play different kinds of music.
2.能力目标:
通过学习本单元学习如何运用定语从句谈论自己的生活喜好,如音乐,CD,电影,食物等的喜好。
3.情感目标:
通过学习本单元学生能够和同学们谈论自己的生活喜好,增进了解和感情,并能提高个人的欣赏水平。

能用恰当的关联词及定语从句来表达个人的喜好。

Ⅰ、warming up and presentation
Greeting.
Free talk about Ss’ favorite food, clothes, musicians, music in sample sentences.
T: It’s almost 5:00 p.m. Are you hungry? I’m hungry (too). I like delicious food. What kind of food do you like?
S1: I like...food.
Ss make brain storm to talk about their favorite clothes, musicians and music in attributive clause.
(设计意图:通过闲谈了解学生的日常爱好,诸如穿衣,食物等,激活学生对这些事物的描述性语言及已有的相关背景知识,为后面的听和说的环节做好铺垫。)
Ⅱ、Pre-listening
1. Ss try to talk about their hobbies in attributive clause with the help of teacher.
T: Do you like music? I like music. There are some of my favorite music.
T: (老师播放第一首音乐) I like music. This music is quiet, it isn’t too loud. I like music that isn’t too loud.(板书)(学生跟读)
Ss learn other phrases (has great lyrics; dance to; sing along with; ) and sentences (I like music that has great lyrics; I like music that I can dance to; I like music that I can sing along with; ) like this.
2. Ss work in pairs and discuss what kinds of music and musicians you like.

(设计意图:结合本课时的目标语言,我把1b的听力内容整合为听前活动来处理,通过谈论老师喜欢的音乐进而引出学生对音乐及音乐家的热烈讨论,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。通过学生熟悉的简单句谈论音乐及音乐家,初步感知听力材料中的生词及目标语言,即定语从句在实际交谈中的使用。

Work in pairs and talk about what kinds of music, musicians or groups Xu Fei, Carmen and you like, using the information in 1b and 2a and 2c.
(设计意图:考虑到课堂时间的有限及1c和2c活动具有相似的地方,我把1c和2c活动整合起来进行语言输出的训练,通过模仿角色对话,巩固学生对定语从句的认识并能熟练说出来,训练学生说的能力。)
Task 3: Making a competition (Groupwork)
Ss work in class to make a survey about what kind of people or things (music, musician, food, clothes...)their classmates like.
(设计意图:通过创设贴近生活生活实际的情境,学生组队练习,通过竞赛形式,促进学生说的热情和活力以及激发学生表达的欲望,不仅锻炼学生用英语口语表达的技能,同时培养学生的合作精神)

2015年12月10日,儋州市英语基本功大赛终于拉下了帷幕。我和其他19位初中组的参赛选手们在经历了半个月的基本功竞赛(英语演讲、英语歌曲比赛、板书、简笔画)和课型竞赛后,都轻轻地松了口气。回想这半个月的点点滴滴,心里不免有些感慨。在备战英语竞赛的过程中,我和我校其他的英语老师一起,共同探讨,共同研究,可以说,我所取得的成绩和他们的无私帮助是分不开的。
此次比赛中,我抽到的课题是人教版九年级英语unit9 I like music that I can dance to (section A 1a---2c),这是一堂听说课,1a,1c部分用定语从句谈论喜欢的音乐,1b 部分展示了定语从句在日常口语中的使用。2a,2b部分为两个好朋友谈论各自喜欢的音乐,音乐家,是前面1a到1c活动的一个内容上的拓展。最后2c部分结合2a和2b的听力材料进行定语从句的语言输出部分,根据听力内容进行口语对话,深化学生对听力材料的理解。
本课的主要教学目标是能听会说本课重点词汇及短语:prefer; lyrics; Australian; electronic; dance to; sing along with等,并能熟练使用定语从句谈论自己的喜好:—I prefer music that has great lyrics.—She likes musicians who play different kinds of music.
本堂课我分三个步骤来设计我的教学思路:
1、听前处理:通过谈论喜欢的食物,服饰,音乐家等学生熟悉的家常话题,初步感知本节课的重点知识点,即定语从句。通过音频呈现教师喜欢的四种音乐类型,引出本课重点词汇,短语及句子。通过学生讨论有关喜欢的音乐及音乐家,激活学生已有的背景知识,让学生预测听力材料内容,降低难度,为听中活动做好准备。
2、听中处理:设计两个不同的、有梯度的听力活动任务,引导学生从听的活动中感知定语从句的使用,并学习如何获取关键信息,为下一步听后即将进行的语言输出提供输入材料。
3、听后处理:根据目标语言及结合学生的个体差异,设计三个有梯度性的任务活动(看听力材料跟读、就听力内容小组编对话、以小组竞赛形式进行信息差活动展示(异组交流调查至少三名同学的兴趣爱好),让学生在真实的语境中使用语言。
虽然竞赛前夕我做了很多努力,我的同事,尤其是严老师,给了我很多指导和帮助,但在此次比赛中,我还是由很多地方存在许多不足。
一、时间的把握。一节40分钟的课堂,我要按计划完成听前目标预言的听前输入,接着还要进行听中活动,最后还要进行听后目标预言的输出。每一个教学步骤都要掐着时间进行。在warming up环节,我费时过多,此处我共用了15分钟才完成听前活动,这与我原先计划的10-12分钟多了至少3分钟!而最后的听后活动中,由于我当时沉浸在学生的目标语言输出这一环节中而忽略了时间,导致了后面的总结环节没有足够的时间进行,这不能不说是一大缺憾。
二、教师指令。一堂好的听说课,教师的指令应该是简洁明了的。我在这方面做得还不足。比如在听前活动的目标预言输出中,我要求学生照着我的模式来进行目标语言的练习,但有个别学生并没有反应过来,可见我当时的指令应该不是很清晰的。
三、学生的调动。此次我选中的授课班级是那大一中九(6)班。这个班级的大部分学生,尤其是男生,羞于在课堂上积极发言。为了调动学生的积极性,我特意买了一点小零食作为课堂回应的奖励。即便如此,部分学生还是无法调动起来。
此次竞赛,我准备得很辛苦,但也很值得。通过此次比赛,名次已经不重要了,重要的是学习和成长的过程。我学会了如何备战一堂好的听说课,学会了和同事共同学习,分享和成长。
