一、整体设计思路
本课是新目标英语《Go for it》八年级上册Unit9的第一课时内容。本单元的核心话题为发出邀请、接受邀请和拒绝邀请。通过学习,学生能够熟练掌握情态动词“can”和“can’t”的用法,本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。
?二、教材背景分析
1、教学内容分析:
(1)Make invitation.
(2)Accept invitation.
(3)Decline invitation.
2、学情分析:
八年级的学生对英语语言知识有了一定的积累, 学生表达上会比较容易,能够体会到成就感。本课涉及到关于询问他人日程和回答日程的问题,这要求学生学会合理安排自己的时间并根据日程来接受或拒绝邀请。强化学生的时间规划意识,有效合理安排课内外时间,让学生的生活更加丰富多彩。
3、教学目标
(1)知识目标:掌握本课词汇和情态动词“can”和 “can’t”的用法。,
(2)能力目标:能听懂与聚会有关的简单话题,能用can 和can’t表述能不能参加聚会的项目会话。
(3)情感目标:学会人际交往的基本常识,学会有礼貌地邀请别人以及对别人的邀请接受或拒绝的回答方式,学会理解他人。
4、教学重点和难点
(1)教学重点:
1) 运用所学的内容提出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请。
2) 正确使用can, might, must 等情态动词。
(2)教学难点:
1)掌握重点词汇和表示邀请的句型。
2)通过听力练习和小组合作,发出邀请,接受邀请,拒绝邀请。

Step2: Revision
用课件展现一些相关话题短语并导入本课话题。
T: What can we see in the pictures?
This time students only listen, when play it the second time, the Ss write the names in proper place. Then share the answer.
通过实际情况和图片提示引出本课所要学习的短语。
Step3.1b Read the instructions.
This is a listening practice. The teacher plays the recording.
T: Now, listen to the recording and write the names next to the correct pictures.
Check the answer.

运用多媒体播放录音材料,通过听力训练学生达到足够的输入量,保证学生有较好的读和写的输出能力。
Step4: Presentation
通过本人去年的生日图片来询问学生是否愿意参加我本周六下午的生日派对,对学生是否接受或拒绝邀请进行师生互练。接着进行生生互练。

Ss listen to the tape, do 2a&2b.
根据图片所提示的动词短语,师生之间进行对话操练,促进师生之间的感情。
Step5: Listening 2a&2b
Read the sentences in 2a.Tell Ss they will listen to some sentences. They should listen and circle the words “can” or “can’t” in the bracket.
Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the words.
Play the recording again to check the answers.
Work on 2b:
Let Ss read the chart below. Tell Ss, this time they must write the reasons in the chart. Make sure they know what to do.
Play the recording for the Ss to write the reasons in the chart.
Play the recording again to check the answers.

八、教学反思
本课时我利用信息技术制作了适合教学的实际课件,我灵活运用各种教学法,努力创设各种情景和可完成的合作性任务,将它们与教材内容、生活应用结合在一起,使学生的听、说、读、写的能力得到训练及提高。在练习中,我提供的图片让学生们看图说句子,量少,显得沉闷,如果改为让每一个学生说一个句子,而且要求不能重复,并及时表扬表现积极的学生,那么,大部分学生的口语表达能力就得以大面积地涉及到。在今后的教学中,要关注学生们的学习动向,提高教学效率,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。
